I feel like Twitter has a very “All or Nothing” Mindset when it comes to a Piece of Media’s Flaws.
Either it’s Perfect with No Flaws if the flaws don’t bother them or it’s Garbage with no Positive Attributes. On here there is apparently no in-between or nuance.

The embargo is still the dumbest thing to happen to DC. The amount of characters that got hurt from it all because of the project that ended up going nowhere all because they think children are really stupid but apparently not stupid enough that it doesn't affect Batman.
Nothing is more torturous than never being able to say anything during conversation, only able to chime in on one joke and mainly having these responses.

I love how basically every study shows that students do better with less homework and workers perform better with more vacation days and shorter shifts, yet we do the exact opposite because of outdated, guilt-driven “work is suffering” values and toxic hustle culture.

I hate the notion that you have to “acknowledge” the flaws of something you like or else your a “glazer” or “think it’s perfect” or “toxically positive” or whatever. Like, yeah, the thing I like has flaws but is it wrong that I just don’t gaf or want to talk about the good parts?
Well, technically Matsuri appears in the manga first in #280 in 2005, the anime just decided to add her in the final filler arc in 2007. Also Gari, Chukichi and Pakura all appeared in Naruto Shippuden movie 3 before appearing in the manga.

This is why I don't think movies like Evil Dead II would have been praised today despite how many people want more campy stuff because modern media criticism has revolved around people acting like 4chan smartasses, so they would call it "millennial slop" or whatever.
