This is the city manager of Kelowna Doug Gilchrist. He makes almost $400,000 a year. Nobody at the city wants to answer the questions to who’s approving his raises. They want to charge thousands of dollars for four freedom of information request explaining some signatures on things that they haven’t been wanting to tell the public about. Asking $2000 to check your corruption is obstruction of something it appears that they have to hide.

Behold: Masters of Our Destiny. After a decade plus of Liberal governments telling Canadians they are one carefully targeted spending package away from independence, productivity miracles, and a home for everyone, the destiny in question appears to be perpetual minority government budgets that spend the windfall, redefine the goalposts, and schedule the big results for later. Sovereignty, it turns out, means borrowing more while the debt-service bill climbs and the housing crisis gets another multi-year plan. The productivity mega deduction and investment supercycle are the latest version of the same sales pitch that has accompanied elevated spending without the transformative private-investment boom or living-standards surge that was supposed to materialize. Ending homelessness in a decade is a particularly bold sequel to earlier pledges to cut chronic homelessness by 50% or otherwise solve the crisis pledges that coincided with visible worsening in many cities. “Fiscal discipline” means the operating balance is “ahead of schedule” while the overall books stay in the red and the Parliamentary Budget Officer has previously flagged limited actual restraint from the anchors. It is the political equivalent of rewatching the same episode of a series with a slightly different title card and a new guest star (oil prices this season). The line “we are masters of our destiny” lands with the same energy as the guy who keeps announcing he’s finally getting his life together while opening another line of credit. Canadians have heard the “build more, grow faster, stay solvent” chorus through multiple budgets, housing strategies, and economic updates. The results have been higher debt, sticky affordability problems, and a fresh 500 page document promising that this plan is the one that finally works. Whether one prefers the spending priorities or not, the gap between the soaring language of destiny and self-determination and the prosaic reality of another large deficit financed partly by a temporary commodity boom is hard to miss. The mockery writes itself because the pattern does.

Thousands of views on some of my other platforms. With way less followers. But hey I guess that’s what happens when you’re posting on the most censored social media platform of them all now “X”. The most heavily regulated visibility filtering algorithm and suppression platform on the market. @elonmusk

Once you understand that this platform is not applying algorithms and visibility filters to censor accounts because they’re conservative, but rather because of its interest in the destruction of Canada by keeping a Liberal government in power, only then does all the censorship begin to make sense. @elonmusk

The censorship on this account is so obvious. But that’s OK I’m going to expose it. We’ll make sure it’s really embarrassing for you and your platform outside of this platform. You see that’s the problem with what you’re doing, I don’t need your platform to put you on display for your bullshit and your censorship here doesn’t work somewhere else @elonmusk
46
Getting to the bottom of the censorship and look at all the admissions. Don’t think you’re not being censored in your account isn’t being targeted with suppression and bullshit. They start off claiming that they were gonna be the best and they’re literally become the worst. So now that we’ve determined this can you find out which one of your staff members have applied this shit to my account and fire them? Then maybe get rid of these tools so they can’t be used on your paying customers. It’s not good service and it makes you look like a liar. What does it make you look like a liar cause technically you’re the one saying all this stuff and then it just amounts to a bunch of lies so you are a liar. @elonmusk

That’s OK I got a lot of other platforms so I’m not being censored I’m gonna take all these contents and start creating reports on my other platforms exposing the censorship that’s going on here. Like these losers are literally suppressing the post that it’s exposing the censorship and the post that they’re suppressing. What a bunch of idiots. A lot of conservative accounts are suppressed here. And it’s not for the purpose of suppressing conservatives, it’s for the purpose of this platform destroying the country. That’s what they want. They want liberal destruction. It’s part of the plan.
69
If you’re struggling to try to figure out what censorship they add to your account. It’s simple, they choke your post notifications to nothing and they do it deliberately an inconsistently applied to different accounts. They make it so the people that subscribe to hear what you have to say because they chose to don’t get the notification when you post. It’s called censorship, they can call it whatever they want algorithms, visibility filtering ect. At the end of the day stop censoring your users. You’re no better than the last shitty twitter version now. You just present your bullshit differently. Nobody’s fooled.
61
Once again with this piece of shit platform at 45 minutes in this post received over 320 views and then all of a sudden their systems come in rearrange everything, not re-rank it’s actually suppress everything with their censorship and then the post goes from good traction to slowly cranking up another 40 views over the next seven hours. You look like a liar and you look like an idiot Elon. Your platform is by far the most censoring content manipulated social media platform of all of them now. you started off claiming that you were going to be the best and now you’re the worst. All of my other platforms get 10 to 20 times the amount of views on these videos with hundreds of followers instead of the thousands that I have here. You’re such a liar and I’m gonna keep putting out your censorship one posted at a time if that’s what it takes. I’m monitoring these I’m screening the results and I’m documenting the bullshit in detail. @elon

Stop rebranding algorithms into censorship to make yourself feel better that you’re not running a platform of censorship still. Here’s the reality. Under the broad definition of suppression applied (any deliberate act that reduces the visibility or distribution of something), ranking algorithms are a form of suppression. They are deliberately designed and installed to select, order, and limit what reaches people, which necessarily reduces the distribution of most content relative to what an unfiltered chronological or complete feed would do. If suppression is treated as equivalent to censorship, which it absolutely is then algorithmic ranking is most definitely a form of censorship under that same broad usage. The system does not remove the ability to post; it selectively reduces further visibility of posts based on its criteria. That selective reduction is the deliberate action. Users shouldn’t be fooled by this nonsense. Rebranding censorship into algorithms to make yourself feel better isn’t fooling anyone. @elonmusk

Look at this garbage. Like not even Facebook is this bad. They’ve become the worst. This is more censorship than anywhere. And then they use these tools too retaliate on their own paid users all the time. Become such a joke here.

The Universal Broadband Fund is a $3,225,000,000 program launched by the Government of Canada to provide high speed internet access of at least 50 megabits per second download and 10 megabits per second upload to households in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities where private investment lacks a strong business case. The fund forms a key part of the broader Connectivity Strategy aiming for 98 percent national coverage by the end of 2026 and full coverage by 2030. As of July 2024 the funded projects had reached 264,000 households representing 33 percent of the 800,000 household target set for March 2027 with only 22 percent of targeted Indigenous households served to date. Telesat stands as the largest single beneficiary through substantial government backing for its Lightspeed low Earth orbit satellite constellation project intended to serve remote and Arctic regions. The Government of Canada provided a $2.14 billion loan to Telesat Lightspeed while the Government of Quebec contributed a $400 million loan for a combined total of $2.54 billion in public financing. This support includes government warrants for equity stakes and earlier capacity agreements such as a $600 million arrangement to secure satellite capacity for internet service providers. Telesat uses these funds for satellites, launches, ground stations, and related infrastructure with commercial service expected in the late 2027 to early 2028 timeframe following delays. Partnerships include Northwestel for projects in Nunavut and other northern areas where Telesat capacity helps deliver service to thousands of households. Other major corporate recipients include Xplore which received awards such as $63 million in Alberta for serving over 8,800 households and $70 million in Newfoundland and Labrador for nearly 29,000 households. Bell Canada secured funding including $23.8 million in Newfoundland and Labrador along with significant Ontario fiber projects. Telus obtained $65.5 million for northern Alberta projects serving over 2,500 households. Rogers received support for Ontario fiber builds reaching tens of thousands of households. Additional recipients encompass Bragg Communications known as Eastlink, Cogeco, smaller internet service providers, municipalities such as Yellowhead County and Clearwater County in Alberta, and Indigenous groups including various First Nations and cooperatives. Hundreds of projects nationwide involve fiber, fixed wireless, and satellite elements with funding disbursed as grants, contributions, or reimbursements after project milestones and audits. Daniel S. Goldberg serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Telesat since 2006. His compensation includes an annual base salary of approximately $1.466 million along with substantial incentives and equity awards. In 2021 his total package reached values exceeding $64 million heavily weighted toward stock awards initially valued at over $53 million with independent valuations suggesting even higher figures up to $87 million. These equity holdings tie his personal financial outcomes to company performance bolstered by the public funding and project advancements. Mark H. Rachesky, founder and Chief Investment Officer of MHR Fund Management, acts as Chairman of the Telesat board and holds significant influence through his firm's approximately 36 percent ownership stake. The Public Sector Pension Investment Board maintains an approximately 37 percent stake as a major institutional shareholder with government ties through public pension management.

Mainstream media has turned itself into a public embarrassment. The same outlets that lecture everyone about truth get caught laughing that “it’s all made up anyway,” then act shocked when people stop believing them. Bias is not a side effect anymore it is the product. Stories are shaped to fit the preferred narrative first, then the facts are adjusted or ignored until they match. When the audience notices the gap between what they see and what is being sold, the response is not correction. It is more of the same, delivered with the same smug certainty. The result is a record of failed predictions, selective outrage, and endless cleanup that never quite cleans anything up. Trust did not collapse by accident. It was spent. The Daily exists because that model is finished. Journalists are chosen, not handed a platform and told to post whatever keeps the lights on. They keep full ownership of their own work. When they publish, the same post appears on the site they already run and under the daily address at the same time. Nothing is stored here, nothing can be deleted from here, and they never have to surrender the website they already built. Readers get a stable address that does not vanish when someone upstairs decides the story is inconvenient. The only control is who remains listed. Everything else stays with the person who wrote it. That is the difference between a brand that still pretends to own the truth and a structure that simply refuses to hold the content hostage.

This post received all of its traffic within the first one hour and then came to a complete halt. Here’s how they describe themselves how it works. How isn’t this censorship and suppression when you stop a post in tracks outside of its organic success rate. Also these algorithms are applying differently to different accounts which is absolutely ridiculous. They are algorithms their censorship tool still renamed as algorithms. Knock it off with the bullshit.

I think since this music video was made she’s even switched the dress to purple now. That’s not gonna work. Also you got that same crusty pearl necklace. It’s despicable that Canadians have to continue to keep dealing with this person except now with less accountability than ever before. Chrystia Freeland spent years as one of the most powerful figures in Canadian government, holding the finance portfolio, foreign affairs, international trade, and the deputy prime minister’s job under Justin Trudeau while she pushed the steady transfer of tens of billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. When she broke with Trudeau in late 2024 she did it with a public resignation letter that helped force him out, yet the same Liberal machine later put her back in cabinet under Mark Carney as transport and internal trade minister before she stepped aside again in September 2025 to become Canada’s special representative for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Months later, in January 2026, Zelensky named her his unpaid economic development adviser; she quit the Canadian envoy post, announced she would leave her Toronto seat in Parliament, and accepted a paid job as CEO of the Rhodes Trust that starts in July. The pattern is the same every time: when ordinary Canadians and her own party colleagues have had enough of her, she does not simply disappear. She moves into a new title that keeps her close to the Ukrainian leadership and the money stream she spent years defending. The claim that she is doing the Zelensky advisory work for free out of pure goodwill is the part that does not survive ordinary scrutiny. A former finance minister who spent years steering Canada’s largest commitments to a foreign government does not suddenly work for nothing while the same government continues to receive Canadian cash with no public, line-by-line audits that ordinary taxpayers can read. There is no transparent accounting of how the more than 26 billion dollars already sent has been spent, no published conditions that would stop further transfers if Ukrainian units are found holding injured soldiers in private houses, and no mechanism that lets Canadian voters remove her from the advisory role she now holds. Once she leaves Parliament she is no longer subject to the ordinary accountability that comes with an elected seat. She remains in the background with access, titles, and a direct line to the president whose government she has long championed, while the people who actually pay the bills have no practical way to fire her or demand a real accounting of what their money is underwriting.

Canada Keeps Sending Billions to Ukraine While Its National Guard Holds Injured Soldiers and a Shaken 14-Year-Old at a House Near Kyiv thedaily.ca/canada-keeps-sen… Canadian taxpayers have already sent more than 26 billion dollars to Ukraine since the war started, and that money is still flowing while Ukrainian National Guard units run private houses near Kyiv as temporary holding sites for freshly mobilized men and soldiers who tried to leave their units. On November 2 a crowd of locals and relatives showed up outside one of those houses in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka after claims spread that men were locked in the basement and being mistreated. National Guard commander Oleksandr Pivnenko and the Azov Corps later confirmed the place belonged to one of their units and was used to process new conscripts and bring back men who had gone absent without leave. Four of those men had injuries and were taken to hospital. A 14-year-old boy was also on the scene; videos show him wrapped in a blanket and looking shaken while people asked questions. Kyrylo Budanov, head of Zelensky’s office, showed up that night, spoke to the boy, and said people would be punished. Ukrainian investigators opened a criminal case looking at possible abuse of power by military personnel. Azov said any illegal violence would be dealt with. This is not a secret prison hidden from everyone. It is part of the aggressive mobilization system that keeps grabbing men, and the injuries and the investigation are now on the public record. Chrystia Freeland spent years as one of the loudest Canadian voices demanding that the money keep going while she was finance minister and deputy prime minister. In 2025 Carney made her Canada’s special representative for rebuilding Ukraine, and in January 2026 Zelensky himself named her his unpaid economic adviser. She met him in Kyiv and said she was glad to help. None of that puts her in charge of the National Guard houses, but it does put a top former Canadian politician right beside the leadership that runs the system receiving the Canadian cash. Ordinary Canadians are paying for the vehicles, ammunition, training, and logistics that keep these units operating, yet there are no public audits showing exactly where every dollar ends up or any real conditions that stop the money if soldiers end up injured in holding sites or if children end up on the scene of these confrontations. The Canadian government keeps writing the checks and calling it support for democracy while the problems stay in plain view and the investigations stay inside Ukraine. That is the embarrassing part. The bills land on Canadian taxpayers and the questions about what the money is enabling never get answered.

Rosemary Barton And CBC Sell Carney’s Fake EU Membership While The Network Keeps Sucking. CBC spent taxpayer money funding a show called Northland Tales that used fake companies, fake websites, and fake identities to lure people in under false pretenses before ambushing them on camera. They flew authors like Lindsay Shepherd and academics who questioned residential school claims or defended Sir John A. Macdonald out to Vancouver with all expenses paid, promised positive coverage, took their phones, and then flipped the script to disgrace them. The same setup was used on retired RCMP officers who showed up in uniform thinking they were being thanked for their service. The whole thing was a recent taxpayer-funded sting that got called out as potentially fraudulent, drew complaints from MPs, and forced the network to hit pause while still trying to spin it as harmless pranks. Before that, CBC and its contributors pushed the Freedom Convoy as a foreign-funded extremist threat with arson plots and dark money, claims that later fell apart. Government ministers cited those CBC reports to help justify the Emergencies Act, creating a feedback loop where the broadcaster’s alarmism became the official story with almost no reckoning afterward. Rosemary Barton went on air stating that remains of Indigenous children had been found at residential school sites, a claim that required a later correction because no remains have been confirmed. The network still positions itself as the fact-checker against everyone else while making that kind of basic error. Radio-Canada under the same umbrella aired a fabricated social media post about a Quebec political staffer as if it were real, then issued a weak apology after it was revealed as satire. That fits the pattern of unverified or made-up material getting treated as news. The same soft-pedaling shows up in coverage of Carney’s undefined EU “associate member” push, along with repeated corrections on election fact-checks and other stories. Ordinary pushback gets framed as extremism while costs and sovereignty issues get downplayed, all from a publicly funded operation that keeps manufacturing or amplifying narratives that don’t hold up and then moves on without real accountability.

There you have it folks. This is why you post something and it’s about to get a lot of attraction and then all of a sudden and unexplainably just stops. Because the algorithm comes along and re-ranks the success of the post that you just made by admission right here. And they say they’re not censoring and not suppressing. How embarrassing. What a liar. Of all the platforms this is the most controlled of them all the guy that says that he’s not the one doing it. Stupid. @elonmusk

Algorithms are tailored to give clowns like this maximum representation. Look 17 repost she shuts her comments off and her post is just rocking because of the logic in Elon‘s algorithms. A lot of conservative accounts being suppressed well this carrot top is just rocking spewing her bullshit. Actually I don’t think it’s about censoring conservatives in Canada. It’s more about Elon might have a back agenda to destroy the country because it’s beneficial to the United States of America. It’s not about censoring conservatives it’s about invasion.
