Yup. Feenstra is afraid to do the basic aspects of the job: talk to people in uncontrolled settings so he can actually hear what they really think. I just sat at 18 different county fair booths and announced when I’d be there, and answered every question in an open setting.
This is what @RobSandIA meant when he pointed out on @IowaPress that some #Iowa politicians do "county tours" with stops that aren't open to the public and aren't announced in advance. @RepFeenstra #IA04 avoids tough questions and scrutiny at events like this one.

The entire debate is whether all this should keep happening.
