@YouTube @YouTubeCreators @TeamYouTube Concerning today's email response, there is circular logic in the process. The support chat rejects opening new cases. The DMs also return me to the email chain. Their email service claims they have no effect, then tells me to ask for help.

Do I start a new support chat? It just tells me that the case is already open and I should respond to the email. Do I send a new email? The respondent says they have no insight into the process and I should ask for help. Do I DM @TeamYouTube? They just return me to the email.

Update to the non-update. The team sent me a DM telling me to resume this conversation in my email chain. But I already have. I sent them an email yesterday asking for human advice and pointing out the errors and contradictions in their previous automated message. No response.
My update for today is that there is no update. @TeamYouTube didn't respond to my last email. After I responded to their typo-ridden, improperly formatted, contradictory email that sidestepped my questions and concerns, I still received no satisfactory reply written by a human.

At first I was surprised by how badly this film failed in my country. It was one of the year's biggest flops. But in retrospect, it's understandable. Old Godzilla films are seen as trashy schlock, so the return of classic monsters was actually kind of a turn-off to some people.
Godzilla looking too much like the "shitty old ones" was already a recurring complaint with the 2014 film, which also under-performed and got horrible reviews. KOTM doubling down on paying homage to old films that were never released here made it even less appealing to audiences.
