Ten pieces we couldn’t stop thinking about. Last week W1 took to the London Art Fairs. Here are our top picks, from the pieces that stopped us in our tracks to the ones we’re still talking about. Take a look, which one would you take home? @friezeofficial

Behind every big idea at Frieze, there’s a producer. Ewa Kniaziak takes us inside Feral Metaverse (Spider), 2026 by Theo Triantafyllidis: a sculpture you can climb, with a game built in. Commissioned by Frieze Forma in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture for the 2026 Frieze London Artist Award, it's a sculpture made to be touched, climbed and played. Six embedded PlayStations. One game. Everyone working together. @kniaziakidis @friezeofficial

At Frieze we caught up with Ken Nwadiogbu. Ken Nwadiogbu, an artist we backed and exhibited in 2021. Fresh from winning the 2026 Young Generation Art Award we caught up with him in front of his latest exhibition at Frieze London, 'I Know the Shadows Will Always Be There' (2026). Ken chooses yellow to show how bright and how visible we are. Walk through, 'She Knows', 'Igbo Boy' and 'The Performance' with us, where the masquerade takes centre stage. @kennwadiogbu @friezeofficial @kennwadiogbu_s

Last day of Frieze with my little helper. A bit more relaxed, and an early start meant we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Roko got stuck in, interacting with the artworks and telling me which ones he liked. Good to get him around art from a young age and see what catches his eye. Frieze London, until next year✌🏼

A blue-chip art icon. One of the world’s most influential galleries. Drum & bass pioneers. The team behind Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa and [UNVRS] and W1 Curates. Different worlds. One unexpected collaboration. For Frieze Week, W1 Curates and The Night League brought Sir Michael Craig-Martin’s MUSIC, presented with Gagosian, from Hï Ibiza to London’s Oxford Street. Reimagined as an immersive experience, the exhibition featured a specially commissioned soundtrack by Goldie and James Davidson of SUBJECTIVE. On Friday, the space transformed into a club. Following an incredible Ibiza season, KONFLICT brought its energy to London, with queues stretching down Oxford Street. An unexpected collision of art, music and club culture. An incredible response. Different worlds brought together by a shared creative energy. MUSIC continues at W1 Curates until November 4. eventbrite.co.uk/e/w1-curate…

‘MUSIC’ BY SIR MICHAEL CRAIG-MARTIN Last night, together with Gagosian and The Night League, we brought Sir Michael Craig-Martin’s MUSIC from Hï Ibiza to W1 Curates London for Frieze Week, and hosted a conversation with Ben Luke. The room was packed, and the discussion ranged from exhibiting at Hï Ibiza, a four time holder of the world’s No. 1 club title to Michael’s practice and the making of the immersive experience with W1 Curates and Daniel Jackson. We also explored the epic soundtrack created especially for the immersive experience by Goldie and James Davidson of SUBJECTIVE. Tonight, we continue the celebration with the MUSIC experience and a huge party to round off the week. @thenightleague @Gagosian @hiibizaofficial

Day 1 of Frieze: Done ✅ As my friend Pez would say: “Smiling since 1999.” We were invited to a beautiful artist lunch celebrating Ian Davenport at Waddington Custot Gallery, where we bumped into our friend Sir Michael Craig-Martin who, as it happens, was Ian’s tutor. We also stopped by TRIEZE, a group show bringing together PEZ, CODEFC, FIN DAC, JAY CAES and OTTO SCHADE. To finish the day, we headed to Annabel’s for a talk and a little party with the King of the Lobsters, Philip Colbert, and Katy Richfield. A brilliant start to the week, full of art and lovely catch-ups with friends. Now, let’s get stuck into Day 2 💪🏼
