This month will be my last at FACEIT. Over the last few years, I’ve been lucky enough to work full-time in esports. When I joined the Creator Partnerships team in 2024, I was given the opportunity of a lifetime: working on the Overwatch esports ecosystem. This game and this community are the reason I am where I am today and have achieved what I’m proud to have achieved. Because of that, my goal was always to give back everything I could to the scene. While not everything worked out exactly as we imagined or hoped, I’m proud of what we accomplished and the world we helped create together. During the Overwatch League era, I always dreamed of attending an offline event at least once. While that never happened for OWL, I had the privilege of meeting and working with some truly amazing people at OWCS Dallas, Stockholm, and many of our other events. Ten years of Overwatch, ten years of my life. It’s a strange feeling to leave all of this behind, but it will always be an incredible chapter to look back on. To everyone I met, spoke with, and worked alongside over the years: thank you. I’ll always be grateful for the memories, friendships, and experiences this community gave me. Thank you 🙏
