JJ McCarthy ditches his eyeblack vs Ohio State teams/opponents so they "see his face clearly after he defeats them."

#Giants QB JJ McCarthy was 5 of 7 passing for 127 yards on passes between 10-19 yards.
He was 2 of 5 for 69 yards on passes of 20+.
McCarty completed 10 of 12 passes for 88 yards when under pressure. He was 4 of 6 for 32 yards when blitzed.
It's "never say die" when it comes to John Harbaugh and the New York Football Giants.
It may not always be pretty but they have shown the ability to compete and battle for 60 minutes and more regardless of any circumstance.
Missing several key players and are still 2.5 games ahead in the NFC East.
This group is united together and have bought in to Harbaugh's program. Giants played just about a complete game and held a talented Texans passing game in check on the road.
It was such a joy to witness. A throwback type of performance in our championship years. And they in fact played like champions today. #BigBlue

Mike Tomlin had an all-time quote when describing the Giants' improvement in their run game this week. 🤣

#Giants edge Abdul Carter had six pressures today and drew two holding calls.
He gave a speech in the locker room at halftime about the need to “empty the tank” and leave the field with nothing left.
Carter really coming into his own on & off the field.
Daniel Jones has four career games with under 110 passing yards on 20+ passes since 2019, second most such games in the NFL in that span. #ForTheShoe

I talked to Cam Skattebo in the locker room. He said he gave himself up because he felt something "tighten" on his breakaway. He wanted to score, and was trying to score, knowing that would have won the game. He was limping around the locker room after, but in great spirits.
Bye week for the #Giants coming at a very, very good time.
