IMPORTANT: We have been made aware that WhistleblowersUK @WB_UK have issued a statement claiming not to have been contacted in regards to the documentary. This is totally false and we are taking the unprecedented step to publish parts of those emails, sent to two different email addresses to show we made several attempts to contact them.

What are the chances that these different emails, one of which has sent correspondence to us last year, all miraculously disappeared?
As you can see in the parts of the emails, we were polite, respectful and offered ample time to respond, even offering an extension if the original 10 days were insufficient.
We sent rights of reply to Mr Ager-Hanssen and Mr Foxley, too. We received no response from Ager-Hanssen and Mr Foxley's reply was reflected in the film.
Journalistic integrity and dignity have been at the heart of this project since day one, everyone in our film, whether we agreed with them personally or not, was treated fairly. We will not sit idly by and let people pretend otherwise.

At the time of the @WBINC_Doc expose, I wrote a post here and on LinkedIn and was bombarded with DM messages from them. I kept telling them that they should simply answer the legitimate questions. There was no need to argue with me because I was not taking anyone’s side. I was just reporting what had been raised.
What I could not understand was why they spent so much time arguing with me instead of answering the questions that had been put in front of them.
I remember feeling at the time that they operated almost like a sect. After speaking with many whistleblowers over the years, I would never have expected that kind of behaviour from people presenting themselves as whistleblowers.
It was the sort of behaviour I would normally expect from perpetrators, rather than from whistleblowers themselves.

I do not & will not support your criticism of Eileen & @CompassnInCare they have worked selflessly for decades to support & protect 'genuine' whistle-blowers'.
Unlike many 'get rich quick' schemes I have seen in the last decade including the SME Alliance directors, the Fair Business Banking APPG secretariat & I believe based on my own experience & evidence WBUK.
Quite frankly your attack on a decent, honest whistle-blower support organisation is disgraceful & I am now embarrassed to be associated with you in any way.
You were made redundant by @LloydsBank & then stated that it was because you were a whistle-blower & had made PIDA disclosures, but unless I'm mistaken you then admitted:
"I followed the model whistle-blower policy to the letter in 2014. HOWEVER, it still falls significantly short of what an employee MUST include in their disclosures for them to be protected.”
So whilst you suggest you are an expert on such matters, you then admitted in Protect disclosures, you didn't actually whistle-blow or knew if you'd done it or knew how to do it.
The whistle-blowers approaching @CompassnInCare begging for help & protection do not get made redundant from a high paid job & then 'remember' they were a whistle-blower.
They simply tell the truth & then lose their jobs. livelihoods, sometimes their homes & often their homes, family lives, marriages and mental health.
Mark Wright was a top earner in @NatWestGroup earning over £110,00 per annum in 2012, plus benefits when his mental health was destroyed over the pressure they put him under when he was attempting to expose a multi-billion market abuse issue.
I was earning a good living as an IFA whilst believing I was helping @TheFCA Executives, by explaining the huge fraud over Hidden Credit lines on swaps from 2013 on.
I faced false allegations on unauthorised activity from my Network MD, when my son in law was terminally ill in 2014, when we were looking after my grandchildren & taking them to the Freeman hospital almost daily to see their dad before his expected death.
The MD Steve Jones said because I refused to meet him within days, it was unnaceptable.
I said we'll know within 2 weeks if he lives or dies (after a failed heart valve operation), I'll meet you next month.
They ignored my concerns, I was suspended, my income frozen & not allowed to speak to or meet my long term clients (some clients for over 20 years & in the middle of complex deals), when they resigned me I asked for the evidence on the allegations.
They then admitted they had none & even stated that no one had a right to suggest I had done anything wrong.
I had been suspended by one of the Largest IFA, networks, my reputation trashed & they ruined my business & career.
It was a very dark time.
Mark & know what the price is for being a whistle-blower & I'll be straight, it doesn't start with losing your job & working it out afterward.
That's why Mark & I set up BankConfidential in 2017, both having lost 25 year impeccable careers for having spoken up.
We met with you asked if you wanted to get involved in BC in the Grange Hotel in Holborn, London. You weren't interested unless it was all about your case.
Those are the facts.
Mark and I have spent 9 years supporting bank whistle-blowers pro-bono.
Mark put £60k from his pension to support BC & I have paid for travel hotels etc. as I said to Eileen earlier
"ignoring our time we are circa £100k out of pocket but have never asked any whistle-blower to pay us or commit to doing so"
Mark & others, I won't mention but copied in (people with integrity I'm happy to name) at one time even paid one whistle-blowers wages so he didn't lose his home, whilst I ran his case & got him a deal pro bono.
That is commitment, that is integrity!
BC was set up on the basis of 'there will never be another Mark Wright', if we could do anything to stop that.
We have on many occasions & managed negotiations that have saved careers and much more.
We never asked for a penny, we have substantial banking & financial expertise & some very high level supporters, despite the fact we operate on a shoestring.
But we a re a minnow & in the world of whistleblowing support @CompassnInCare Eileen and her organisation, their history, helpine & support is a whale & you should respect that.
Unlike the Fair Business Banking APPG you call on for support who've taken hundreds of thousands from banks who destroyed the SME's they allegedly represent (but fail to), or WBUK who were chasing the same 'filthy lucre'.
WBUK have no track record I am aware of in proving anything other than a desire to have a pass to Parliament, funding from a US firm chasing 40% fees from pay outs, lobbying prospects & the potential of huge rewards
If the US bounty style payments came in. A great prospect for gold diggers...

I & @BankConfidenti1 stand by Eileen, her organisation, her integrity & the selfless way the BUPA 7 turned persecution & desperation into a great charity that has supported thousands of 'genuine' whistle-blowers.

If it wasn't for this register, we'd never have found out that a Liberal Democrat MP had hired their son.
IPSA rules clearly state that any MP elected after 2017 is prohibited from employing close relatives.
Now we won't be able to check. What are they hiding?
A glorious day for opponents of transparency in public life.
MPs have removed the names of their parliamentary staff from a decades-old public register - meaning we do not know who these people are and are left to accept the word of their employer when they say (as in the case of the prime minister, here) that said staff do not have any outside earnings or private interests.
"All staff have confirmed they have no registrable interests": oh, well that's that then.
No way of determining if true; no way of finding out if MPs employing family members; no way for anyone other than MPs themselves to uphold standards or examine who is operating in the Palace of Westminster on their behalf.
The decision was driven by ... you guessed it ... MPs themselves, following behind-closed-door consultations with staff trade union representatives - not media or anti-corruption organisations.
Echoes of the time that decided among themselves - with nil meaningful debate - to exempt themselves from the centuries-old system by which those arrested would be named before the Commons.
Parliament being sovereign it is always free to take such steps without consultation or engagement with the public - the hope is they decide not to abuse their positions and proactively seek criticism or counter-views.
In this instance, sadly, MPs have demonstrated they cannot be trusted to do so - they have put us out of step with comparable democracies without anything approaching scrutiny:

We were given access to shocking messages sent by WBUK CEO Georgina Halford-Hall, in which she says a whistleblower can "fuck off" and that she is going to kick him out of a support group because he hadn't paid his subscription money for their 'services'. She also refers to whistleblowers who have publicly raised concerns about the organisation as "weirdos" and "mad".
As directors of the organisation, @jogideon @tessamunt @RealStephenKerr need to address this publicly. This is not "trolling" or "harassment" or a "hit job", these are people with valid concerns and criticism who have been harmed by your organisation and Halford-Hall's behaviour towards them.
We spent 9 months investigating this story, and couldn't squeeze everything into 30 minutes, but there is a mountain of well-evidenced concerns raised by genuine whistleblowers who have reached out to you, often in incredibly difficult circumstances, and have entrusted us with their story and your shameful attempts to gaslight them on LinkedIn with ridiculous aspersions will not wash and we will keep pushing on their behalf until you address the incredibly serious safeguarding issues raised in the film.

So Jo Gideon resigns from #WBUK, this is the person who is supposed to be carrying out an investigation into the alledgedly missing right to reply letters which did exist and were sent to #WBUK. An employment tribunal this week ruled that case to be “entirely without substance” and their whistleblowing claim had been reverse-engineered to fit a narrative.
WBUK boasted online they shredded information sent to them relating to Ager-Hanssen and invited him to speak at Whistleblower Awareness Week in Parliament where they presented him as a whistleblower.

We are being asked by many people if we have recieved an apology from #WBUK yet and the answer is no. @RealStephenKerr and @tessamunt among others knew the statements posted by #WBUK were blatant lies and yet they left those statements in place until recently. However supporters of #WBUK such as #FloraPageKC continue to repeat these blatant lies despite it be proven that #WBUK had a pre production meeting with @WBINC_Doc producers and that #WBUK received right to reply letters despite publically lying about this. The attacks on us by #WBUK have all been based on provably blatant lies, clearly supporters of #WBUK such as #FloraPageKC are not interested in the evidenced facts. The reason #WBUK did not comment @WBINC_Doc is because the documentary contained nothing they could challenge because the truth is hard to challenge.
