Exposure is pretty straightforward — if the talent is there, a trusted voice in your corner can open real doors. But actually getting recruited? The player still has to perform when the lights are bright. The coaches and orgs who are consistently truthful about a player’s ability? Their reputation grows, and their players end up with the best real opportunities over time. #facts @WBarrett1028

There are a lot of smart-sounding hitting coaches online. My job as your hitting coach isn’t to sound smart—it’s to help hitters understand their swing so they can do it without me. Most 14–22 yr olds don’t need big words. They need cues and ownership they can use in the box. @WBarrett1028
