Incredibly poor decision by Cristiano Ronaldo not to substitute Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Maybe the problem isn’t Tourette’s maybe the problem is people don’t know enough about Tourette’s”
How relevant is that right now
What a film

I keep hearing that Americans aren’t aware of Tourette’s.
Not convinced.
I remembered seeing an episode of LA Law about Tourette’s and I managed to find it. This is from 1991. So 25 years ago.
Interestingly it uses the “n word” and the explains that the person can’t help it.

Biggest point of ‘I Swear’ inspired by John Davidson, that goes viral was this scene, for a reason. It's trying to normalize tourettes and explain to people that they can't control it. Forcing a person who has tourettes to apologize for every single thing is hell, shame on you.

The last 24 hours have taught me I am so much less offended by Tourette’s than I am by incredibly, painfully stupid people.

Actually super racist guy with tourettes, but he never tic-shouts the n-word because it doesn't seem inappropriate to him.

Black people being called the n-word by non-Black people will always be painful b/c that word carries a very heavy painful weight for us. But people should also understand that a person with Corprolalia specifically isn't making an intentional racial or gendered attack, either.
Replying to @CarrieCnh12
It might be hurtful if you dont understand Tourette's.
If I had the honour of meeting this man, and he called me the most abhorrent thing you could possibly call someone, I would take it as a badge of honour for even being in the presence of this amazing man.
Sometimes people really disappoint me.
