Explosion of the turbopump of engine № 8 of the N-1 № 5L 0.22 seconds before launch during the second flight test.
The detonation was so powerful that it tore out part of the tail section, damaged engines № 7 and 9, and also the cable network

El portaaviones nuclear Proyecto 1143.7 Clase Ulyanovsk. Tenía un desplazamiento de 80000 tn y capacidades similares a la clase Nimitz norteamericana. Su nombre original era Kremlin pero pronto fue cambiado por el de la ciudad rusa de Ulyanovsk (nombre original de Vladimir Lenin)
