We're sad to hear that Sandy Posey has passed away. A monumental talent, Sandy gently tore down the walls that traditionally separated girl groups, beat groups, country, and rhythm and blues to fashion a unique brand of smart, sassy, and emotionally searing pop.

Next up: Lightning Safety when you are indoors. Safe shelters are buildings with electricity and plumbing or metal-topped vehicles with the windows closed. Picnic shelters, dugouts and small buildings without plumbing or electricity are not safe. #arwx #mowx #mswx #tnwx

Severe weather is expected between 12AM-3AM overnight. With late night timing, it is very important to have a plan before you go to sleep. A tornado is not out the question, so have a safety plan ready to go if needed. Tomorrow will be dry, warm, and less humid. High: 84. /LG

A packed Minglewood Hall tonight for an entirely terrific @WEVL benefit concert featuring Cory Branan and (the not incidentally hilarious) Todd Snider, doing apparently his first live show in many months.
