What a season 3 we had in the WFA 70+ Southern League! After 126 league matches involving 7 teams AFC Bournemouth Reds just pipped Cove to the title.
Two more teams have applied to join the league for the 2024-25 season. It’s not too late for more teams to express an interest.
Planning has begun for the 2024-25 season and we welcome enquiries from clubs interested in joining our 70+ league. We currently have teams from Dorset, Devon, Hampshire, and Surrey - it would be great to add some new ones!
Today our League Representative teams played the WFA South West 70’s in Bournemouth. Mixed results but all games played in the right spirit with excellent referees. Return games next month.
We are delighted to welcome a new team to the league, BH70 join us for season 3 round 1 on 19/10/23 at the AFC Bournemouth Ringwood Hub.
Congratulations to AFC Bournemouth who are WFA 70+ Southern League champions 2022-23. They were pushed all the way by Eastleigh who were very worthy runners up.
After round 3 of league games it’s really tight at the top with just three points separating AFC Bournemouth, Eastleigh, and Cove. We play again on March 15th.

A great afternoon of walking football today when six teams got together for matchday 2 in Bournemouth. Great refereeing, competitive games played in the right spirit.
A good day for two of our league teams in the 70+ National Cup with Bournemouth and Eastleigh progressing from a very tough group to the quarterfinals.
