Eid Mubarak! I want to extend my warmest wishes to all those celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
May your Eid be filled with peace, blessings and hope.
A couple who reside in our borough of Waltham Forest were stuck in Gaza.
Over the last couple of months, we have been campaigning continuously and tonight, they have arrived back safely to the UK, Alhamdulillah.
Huge thanks to @belmorecllr and all those mentioned below:
Number of people we tried to evacuate from Gaza: 3
Number of people we brought home from Gaza: 3.
Thank you every1 who helped, wrote and lobbied including MPs @jamesmurray_ldn, @JohnCryerMP, mosques @WFCOMuk, students, FCO & the super organisers - Abi, Ifrah, Noura, Amina & Said

We stand in solidarity with @elondonmosque: stand strong, be steadfast & remain patient, we are with you. This is what happens when Islamophobic hate mongers such as @hurryupharry/@habibi_uk constantly demonise our Mosques, they create this environment. #Islamophobia

It’s with great sadness we have to report a hugely concerning letter received today by our affiliate Apex School, see attached letter and statement from Apex.
Whilst Islamophobia goes unchecked and ignored in Redbridge we are hugely concerned of serious outcomes for Muslims. 1/1
Was a pleasure having you and your team at our march. It’s a breath of fresh air when journalists and media organisations like yourself disseminate the actual truth rather than false narratives with problematic motives/agendas. Keep up the amazing work!
Marsha'Allah! More public displays of Islam as Muslims pray outside Waltham Forest Town Hall in London.
Quran recitations, public prayers and a strong united Muslim front. This is all a great way to pressure the West over her support for Israel's crimes in Muslim lands. CAN I GET A TAKBIR?! ☪️🕌🇬🇧🇵🇸

🚨 CEASEFIRE IN GAZA 🇵🇸
Response To @MPIainDS (Chingford & Wanstead MP)
Dear Waltham Forest Community,
We had reached out to IDS to call for a ceasefire, and we subsequently had a response in which he was against a ceasefire and voted against it.
🚨 #NoCeasefireNoVote 🚨
A shout out to the 9/60 councillors in @wfcouncil who have demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, Palestine 🙌
