"What encouraged me most today is hearing fathers speak about spending more time with their children. A father's role goes far beyond providing. When fathers support their children, they help build the strong foundations every child needs to thrive" @SamOcranKweku

A powerful El Niño not only affects the most food insecure people and communities, it also affects key breadbaskets with implications on food production and prices, that can multiply hunger.
On the Day of the Namibian Child, WFP Namibia celebrates the strength, dreams, and potential of every child in #Namibia.

📚 A school meal is more than food on a plate — it’s an investment in a child’s education, health & future.
With over 60 years on the frontlines of hunger, @WFP works with countries around the world to ensure millions of children get the nutrition they need to learn and thrive.
Hunger is not just a humanitarian issue. It is a threat to stability, prosperity, and peace.
If we want a more peaceful and prosperous world, food security must be part of the solution.
No nation can thrive if its people are hungry. #UNGA81
