Yesterday, I visited Deir ez Zor, Syria, only recently accessible via @WFP_UNHAS following the fighting in January. The city is completely destroyed. People have no food, water, and shelter. With @EU_echo support, our partners are providing much needed aid, but operations need to be scaled up.
