Fantastic performance by the players again today, and a classic Ryan Maxwell performance, solid at the back and clinical in attack. The 2 goals in the 1st half were a brilliant foundation, and once Carshalton's pressure eased we punished them twice. Onto Cray Valley. 🪽😁

Brilliant victory tonight and the classic game of 2 halves. 1st half we should have been out of sight with us hitting the post, 2 Leatherhead clearences off the line and more. 2nd half we dug in and defended resolutely and got the vital win we needed. Onto Carshalton. 🪽

Very unlucky to lose today, but unfortunately Chatham just edged the fine margins slightly better than us. 2 of their goals coming from deflections summed up the game really, they took more of their chances than us, despite how they came about. Such is football. 🪽

Brilliant home performance today against a decent and well-organised Burgess Hill side, and Shomoton's 2 goals were class. That is the difference we have at the club, game changers who can change a game from almost nothing. Superb to see. Onto Chatham next week. 🪽

Very disappointing defeat but we have to put it into perspective. Today is the first time this season we haven't scored a goal, but yet we had some good opportunities, especially Nahum's header that was saved in the 76h minute. We are still in a brilliant position. Onto BH 🪽

What a superb result that was tonight, 1-0 away win on a cold Tuesday night is simply brilliant and a massive testament to our renewed character and belief under the management team. Massive to extend that lead at the top, we are looking in such good form. Onto Eastbourne. 🪽

Top of the Isthmian Premier Division. After the chaos of recent years, what a turnaround that is in the space of less than a few months. Fully deserved winners as well, and without the Whyteleafe GK it could have been a lot more. Fantastic stuff, Welling 😁 Onto Maldon. 🪽

Very much deserved win tonight, and well done to the Management Team for managing the squad selection so well. The blend of 1st team players and upcoming youngsters gave the team good balance, and we got some lovely goals tonight. Onto the next round and Saturday. 🪽

Very unfortunate to exit the FA Trophy at the first hurdle, but sometimes those sort of days happen in football. Played some good football at times, but didn't convert all the chances we should of, and Chertsey took their chances well. Let's bounce back on Tuesday. 🪽

Very disappointing to exit the FA Cup early again, but I didn't think it was a case that we were outplayed. The lads gave it a good go, but we gave away some sloppy goals against a side that were clinical on the day. One of those days in football. Onto the next one. 🪽

Another brilliant victory on the board this evening, and it is testament to how well we have performed since the start of the season. 1st half we should have been out of sight, 2nd half we controlled the tempo brilliantly, and got the goal when it mattered. Onto Dulwich. 🪽

Another brilliant home display by the squad today. Totally deserved to win the game with all the chances we created, and we were clinical when it counted. We are heading in a very positive direction, just need to keep that momentum as consistent as possible. Onto Cheshunt. 🪽

Delighted for the club to be in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Cup tonight. Faversham were a worthy opponent across both games, and really made us work so hard for it, but overall we deserved to progress in the end after that 2nd half tonight. Onto Saturday. 🪽

FA Cup ties are always going to be very tight for the most part, and a 1-1 draw away from home in hot conditions to a decent side is not a bad result. No side really edged the contest, and Faversham looked a lot more dangerous in the final quarter, so a replay is alright. 🪽

Very disappointing final result. First hour of the game was very evenly matched, but after the 2 sending offs, Cray just reacted far better than us and were clinical in front of goal. One of those games we have to regroup and move on from. Onto Faversham. 🪽

Fantastic 3 points this afternoon to put on the board, and ugly 1-0 wins are crucial if we want to challenge for promotion. Ramsgate are not a bad side and were very competitive in the 2nd half, but our defence was once again impeccable. Onto Cray Wanderers on Monday. 🪽

Unbelievable. What a result that was, this afternoon, and totally deserved as well. We are right up there as promotion favourites now, especially with the squad we have got. Onto Ramsgate next week to continue a brilliant last few weeks. 🪽

This is a question I wanted to ask those who see my posts for quite some time. Do you agree with me that only team captains and selected players should speak to the referees at any one time in a game? Any verbal or physical intimidation warrants an immediate yellow card.

What a performance by the players on the afternoon that was. Completely deserving victors, 2nd half Stanway can be fortunate it wasn't 6 or 7 as we looked like we would score with almost every attack. A perfect response to Tuesday night, and a statement ahead of Dartford. 🪽
