Strong agreement across the world on today’s UK action against illegal settlements and settler violence that are an existential threat to the two state solution. No one should be profiting from stolen land.
Together we are resolute.

It’s never been clearer: illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land are a significant obstacle to peace.
There can be no two-state solution if there is no viable state left to call Palestine.
That’s why the UK Government is right to take strong action and impose a ban on trade in goods from these settlements.
With plans for more illegal settlements - and settlers currently inflicting terrible violence against Palestinians on a daily basis with impunity - it’s heartening to see the international community joining the UK in taking a stand and applying more pressure on Israel to recognise and respect the rights of Palestinians.
Congratulations
"I’m really pleased to have been reappointed by GM Mayor Bev Craig as Deputy Mayor for Safer and Stronger Communities.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue working with dedicated colleagues in policing, fire and community safety, and with communities across Greater Manchester. Together, we’ll keep working to build safer, stronger communities where everyone can live a good life.
Thank you, Bev, for your trust. There’s lots still to do, and I’m excited to get on with it."
Well done Bev !! Keep it up ❤️❤️
Day 1 of the new job.
🚌 From January 2027 - Our Pass will allow free bus travel for all 11-18s across GM
💰 This will put up to £500 per child in the pockets of hard working families
👧 And say to our young people you can go wherever you want to go…
Excited for delivering more in the days ahead 🤩

This tripe is being put out in my constituency. Canvassing returns are not verifiable, do not constitute a reliable sample, and always weight towards your own Party.
The polls, and the tactical voting organisations, are clear: this is a race between Bev and Reform. The Greens know it too, if this is all they have to stack up their claim.

Andy Burnham has a plan to rewire Britain so it works better for ordinary people with more power in the hands of local areas to shape their futures, and more public control over life’s essentials.
