🇺🇸 DOJ just charged 18 more people in North Carolina with illegally voting in the 2024 election, bringing the total charged in that state this year alone to 30.
Acting Deputy AG McCotter stated the obvious: non-citizens cannot vote in federal elections.
Since the start of President Trump’s second term, the Justice Department has charged more than 180 people with illegally voting or registering as non-citizens, according to a Washington Post analysis of the cases. Many involve green-card holders or others who were not citizens when they cast ballots.
Election integrity requires enforcing the law. Only citizens should decide American elections.

“Illegal voting is just that: illegal,” said Acting Deputy Attorney General @PADAGMcCotter. “If you’re not an American citizen, you cannot vote in our federal elections. We want to prevent illegal voting from occurring, which is why we’ve now charged 30 people just in North Carolina who have violated our laws by illegally registering to vote and illegally voting. We need to preserve the integrity of the ballot box by ensuring only those eligible are casting ballots.”

🇨🇦 The idea of Canada as an EU “associate member” was never feasible.
EU treaties require a European state for membership (Article 49). There is no legal category for “associate member,” and Canada is not in Europe. Ursula von der Leyen floated the undefined concept in September without full member-state buy-in. Germany, France and others objected, so the term was stripped from the Montreal summit statement in favor of vague language about an “ever closer association, short of full membership.”
As noted, Trump called the proposal “laughable” and warned that if he viewed it as a hostile act, the US could stop trading with Europe on many things. Canada’s largest trading partner remains the United States by a wide margin. The whole notion was always more of a political stunt than workable plan.
The real reason the EU withdrew it's offer to Carney of an Associate Membership.
Trump called the EU’s proposal to make Canada an associate member “laughable” and said if he interpreted the move as a “hostile act”, the US might stop trading with Europe “on many things”.

When fake "Dan Sullivan" filed to run in Alaska, he filed as Republican. However, his voter registration card has always been listed "NONPARTISAN."
He has been registered nonpartisan for 40 years.
Alaska Stat. § 15.25.030(a)(5) requires a candidate’s declaration of candidacy to state the political party or group "with which the candidate is registered as affiliated." The Alaska Supreme Court confirmed in Kohlhaas v. State (2022) that a candidate "cannot lie about being affiliated with a particular party."
Well, he lied as we now know it was a whole plot to deceive voters.
In June 2026, a complaint was filed on behalf of the Alaskan Republican Party. It was overruled by Alaska Supreme Court on the grounds of "good faith."
It was NOT good faith.
🇺🇸 Mary Peltola claims she’s the only candidate with a plan to “fix the rigged system.”
According to a New York Times report based on text messages, documents, and 12 sources, her campaign aides, lawyers, and DSCC staff ran a “ballot composition project” to recruit a second Dan Sullivan specifically to confuse voters and siphon votes from the real Sen. Dan Sullivan.
Alaska Gov. Dunleavy has ordered an investigation into whether this scheme violated state law and if criminal charges are warranted. Deliberately manipulating the ballot to deceive voters isn’t reform, it’s the opposite.
Alaskans deserve a clean election, not a namesake decoy.

The DOJ’s position is that federal law (18 U.S.C. § 611) criminalizes noncitizen voting in federal elections, and state statutes cannot block lawful federal investigations or enforcement actions targeting potential fraud. DOJ has already identified ~20,000 likely noncitizens on California rolls, sued to sequester those ballots, and warned officials that counting them risks federal liability. A federal judge just rejected the emergency request, but the appeal is underway.
State felony laws do not override the Supremacy Clause.

When the lawyers need lawyers, you know it's bad. Peltola has a LOT of explaining to do and I'm not sure there's much she can say to get out of it!
The right thing to do is also REMOVE THE FRAUD FROM THE BALLOT.

They lied to the public, they got caught red-handed, and now DOJ is coming with the hammer! SCOTUS IF NECESSARY.
