Why is the black symbiote suit on the spideytrack app?
I actually think we are getting a comic accurate Secret Wars. Pair this with the post credit scene and we are told 2 things...
1.) Spiderman is off world
2.) There is a black suit
In the Secret Wars comic, Peter receives the symbiote on Battleworld.
How then can it communicate with Neds Spidey Tracker app?
The piece of symbiote left behind in No Way Home shares a hive mind with the symbiote on Battleworld. It communicates to the tracker Spiderman is off world.
But hey, that's just a theory.
The LOTR reference here is so on the nose...

Honestly, this was just Frank being Frank and Peter being Peter.
Both responded to a maniac drug dealer. Something went wrong, he was about to shoot Frank. Spiderman showed up to saved the day. A little underwhelming but canonically accurate.
Frank: "that guy couldn't hit me with a handful of rice"
Peter: "there was a drug dealer about to shoot a guy. I webbed that gun out of his hand and kicked that drug dealer back into the storage container"
Frank saying "I'm gonna kill this kid" and 2 hours later nearly doing it is one of the coolest details from the movie
Just finished my 3rd watch of Brand New Day, I spotted 23 deatils and easter eggs that I haven't seen many people commenting on (I tried to stay original)

22.) He made one inhibitor specifically for himself and made ANOTHER ONE THATS UNIVERSAL - Peter specifically says he made a different inhibitor for Jean this one is "universal"
21.) Did Jean blow on Peter? - When Jean is keeping Peter alive she is using he telekinesis to literally blow air into his lungs. You can see a visable blow from Jean onto Peter to keep him alive in the final scene
20.) When Peter falls off the DODC building with Hulk and catches the inhibitor collar mid air, the camera angle and framing is very similar to Tobey catching Aunt May's ring in Spider Man 3.
19.) The trailers edited Hulk's line to say "No Banner, only Hulk" but the actual movie line is "No Banner, no girl, only Hulk."
16.) The Staten Island event where Peter had to save Franks life was described in some detail at one point. There was a lot of bickering back and forth and I won't be able to dissect the conversation until I can get my hands on a start/stop button.
15.) MJ bringing up French government mind control is a cool deep cut reference to actual French intelligence conspiracy theories (look em up if you're interested)
14.) The helicopter Peter webs up to trap Jean has JUST MARRIED written on the side. It's from the wedding Peter crashed moments earlier.
13.) Peter looking disgusted by alcohol makes so much sense for his lore. His metabolism means he can't get drunk, so he basically never drinks and hates the taste
