Some are so hungry while they live off just bread. Others, their tents burned, and they speak about the people who came to film them, promised help, and never came back. These families have already lost the shelters they called home. Imagine having to tell that story to a camera, believing help is finally coming, and then waiting for people who never return. Their dignity is worth more than a video. If you promise to help, come back. On October 24, The Sameer Project responded to an urgent appeal from 17 families at the Al-Bandar gathering in Khan Younis, east of Street 5, after occupation forces burned their tents. Each family received a kitchen utensil kit, a 4 × 6 meter tarp, and two mattresses. The response cost $2,587 including transport and 11% commission fees.
