🚨 A PHP zero day drops today.
Two critical flaws (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) let attackers run code on your server without logging in, and PHP powers around 75% of the web including every WordPress site.
The patch releases at 14:00 UTC, and attacks are expected within minutes of it going live, so message your host or developer NOW and have them ready to update the moment it lands.

Updating WordPress won't fix the PHP flaws announced today. 🚨
The PHP security team released emergency fixes on October 21, 2026, for two critical vulnerabilities in PHP itself.
These flaws let attackers run code on your web server without logging in. Details leaked before the fix was ready, so attackers may already know how to use them.
PHP runs on your hosting server, so the update has to happen there, not in your WordPress dashboard.

今回見つかったPHPの脆弱性は、WordPressを更新しても防げません。🚨
現地時間10月21日、PHPセキュリティチームがPHP本体の重大な脆弱性2件について緊急修正をリリースしました。
ログインしなくてもWebサーバー上でコードを実行できてしまう脆弱性で、修正版の公開前に詳細が流出していました。
PHPはWordPressではなくホスティングサーバー上で動いているため、更新はホスティング側で行う必要があります。

If you have a WordPress site, message your hosting provider now so they can update as soon as the patch is out. Attacks usually start within minutes.

Here are the 4 checks we'd run before the chaos begin:
✅ Speed: Let your caching plugin speed up your home, product, and blog pages. Never cache the cart, checkout, or My Account pages.
✅ Prepare: Multiply your email list size by your open rate and click rate. That's your CHAOS. Send that number to your host 2 to 3 weeks before the sale.
✅ Stock: In @WooCommerce, turn on stock tracking, stop backorders, switch on low stock email alerts, and hold stock in carts while people pay.
✅ Backups: Back up using @DuplicatorWP and update everything this week. Take a fresh backup on November 20th, then change nothing.
