Lo and behold… Private Equity gets involved and we have a full scale re-organization.

For those of you following the in-state re-org, I’ll tell you who all programs in question need to go after: @AaronAmaama Ifykyk

Anyone who didn’t see the re-org coming just doesn’t know Whitt. For over a decade his mantra has been “all in or in the way”. Utah and BYU stand in between his path to success and as soon as he put on a Michigan hat, everyone else turned into an opponent. No more no less.

Anyone who thinks Scalley hasn’t planned for this, doesn’t know Scalley. Been planning to be HC for 15+ years. Like, he’s literally said it. Often. definitely made it harder but he’s got great resources and Utah’s a great job. Trust the process, Utah fans. We gon be alright.

BYU ‘gon be alright. Kalani is the man and his coaching tree is going to be incredible by the end. He’s an empowering leader, excellent football coach, and an overall great man. And they got plenty money.

As a former player under 6 coordinators- ARod would be an excellent hire. People have no idea what Rod did for Utah and when. BYU too.

What if I told everyone it’s very real that BYU could be the school from Utah losing both coordinators? The mutual interest between Utah & Aaron Roderick is very real. Expect Utah HC Morgan Scalley to be thorough in getting this hire right.

Man, I was around when Lew was working 80 hour weeks +night shifts at the supermarket as a GA. Bummed for me 🔴 but so freakin happy for him. He’s turned into a MONSTER recruiter and an incredible developer of talent. Michigan got a top tier coach. GETCHU A BAG COACH! 💰

Source: Utah defensive ends coach Lewis Powell is leaving for Michigan to work with Kyle Whittingham. He’s expected to work with the defensive line there and be run game coordinator. He’s been with Whittingham for 11 seasons, 10 of which were with the defensive line.

Speaking as someone who’s known Ross for years, I’ve seen the work. As a trainer, he’s developed guys technically and fundamentally and helped their growth take off. The common question for first-time position coaches is managing a room, and from what I’ve seen, he’s capable. Add in his relationships and reputation statewide and he’ll be an elite recruiter. Give him the opportunity.

I’m told to anticipate that Utah great & assistant OL coach Isaac Asiata will become the next offensive line coach at Weber State. Weber State boosters have rallied together to make this hire possible. This gives Asiata the opportunity for valuable recruiting experience.

I’d drop everything I’m doing to be a part of a program ran by Morgan Scalley in a heartbeat.

Send any player who wants to leave Utah early my way. Be it the NFL or another school. I’ll happily lay out how the grass isn’t always greener for them. When you’re winning at @Utah_Football like they are now, the grass is the greenest grass this world has to offer.

I get it but I don’t love it. 👉You know what type of offensive script works for both an 8th year senior AND true freshman QB? 👉There isn’t one. Give Ludwig a break. Level of difficulty has been sky high. Terrible year but still like 3 balls away from being a 1 loss team.

I was just thinking about something similar this morning on my way to work. I loved playing and got the most out of my experience but honestly, if I could do the last 15 years over again I think I would play LESS football, not more.

Athletes, please REMEMBER this! I lived in shame for years after football ended about my college career. Not living up my expectations. Letting myself down. Letting family down. Letting fans down. The “what ifs”, “why me”, did I make the right decision, haunted me (1/4)

I'm not hyper-political. Never heard of this guy before. No idea what his true politics are. Kind of like him. Personally, I think the world would be a kinder place to live if more people thought they might get punched for what they say.
