IMPACT: Emerging Leaders Fellowship | Israel Goes to the Polls
What lies ahead for Israel’s political landscape, and what are the key issues shaping the upcoming elections?
This week, our IMPACT fellows explored these questions with @ZvikaKlein, Editor-in-Chief of The @Jerusalem_Post, in a lively discussion on Israeli politics, electoral dynamics and the challenges facing Israel in the months ahead.
From domestic political developments to the implications for Israel’s relationship with Jewish communities worldwide, the session offered fellows an opportunity to engage directly with one of Israel’s leading journalists, ask questions and exchange perspectives.
🌍 IMPACT: Emerging Leaders Fellowship is a joint initiative of B’nai B’rith International and the World Union of Jewish Students (@WUJS_official), bringing together emerging Jewish leaders from around the world to engage with experts, strengthen their leadership skills and build networks to make an impact in their communities and beyond.

And we’re off! 🚀
Today we kicked off the 6th edition of IMPACT: Emerging Leaders Fellowship, bringing together 29 emerging Jewish leaders from 14 countries for the start of three months of learning, exchange and community-building.
One day before October 7, we are reminded not only of everything that has changed for Jewish communities over the past three years, but also of how much stronger, connected and better-equipped the next generation of Jewish leaders needs to be.
The post-October 7 reality has placed young Jewish leaders on the front lines of challenges many could never have anticipated.
IMPACT is giving them the knowledge and networks to build stronger communities and partnerships; and to learn from leading voices—and from each other.

This is a piece worth reading.
@WUJS_official VP Jonah Feiglin has heard from Jewish students all across the globe who are forced to constantly calculate the risks that come with being openly and proudly Jewish on campus. But what stands out to him? "Not the fear, but the refusal to disappear."
“Jewish students are not defined by the hatred directed towards them. They are defined by the communities they build, the responsibility they take for one another and the future they are determined to shape.”
So proud of the work that @ADL and WUJS do together and grateful to have Jonah working on behalf of the next generation of Jewish leaders. ejewishphilanthropy.com/jewi…

This is one of the most exciting Jewish student leadership announcements I've seen in years.
@AJCGlobal and @WUJS_official have announced a new partnership, including the launch of the first North American Jewish Student Summit.
A thread 🧵
At #AJCGloFo, @AJCCEO Ted Deutch and @WUJS_official President Ariela Di Gioacchino just announced an exciting new partnership focused on strengthening and empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders around the globe.
As part of this new agreement, AJC and WUJS will launch the first-ever North American Student Summit, bringing together young Jewish leaders from around the world with their peers from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The summit will provide a forum to share best practices, deepen global connections, and strengthen Jewish identity at a critical moment for young Jews.
This initiative reflects AJC’s enduring commitment to its global Jewish community partners and to investing in Jewish students and young professionals worldwide, ensuring that their voices help shape the future of Jewish advocacy.
