I think Ron DeSantis kind of sucks.
He's a competent governor in some ways, but he's also a weirdo culture warrior. And he appointed an antivax lunatic, Joe Ladapo, to be the FL surgeon general. Not exactly a good judge of character in my book.
I don't think he should be the next leader of the GOP. Granted, I don't really care who it ends up being. Not having a team is a great feeling sometimes. I don't have to worry about things that I can't control.

It’s a fair point. New York and Florida are basically the same, except for our 24/7 subway system, one of the nation’s largest public hospital systems, a higher minimum wage, stronger worker protections, universal 3-K, paid family leave, paid sick leave, and paid prenatal leave.
