Celebrating the completion of the Chorlton cycleway, a 6.5km route safe from motor traffic.
Together we are making good stuff happen in #GreaterManchester. ๐ฑFor a thriving city region and good lives for all.
This evening there is a @WalkRideGM trip out from town using the new Deansgate and Bridgewater Viaduct cycle lanes (which link up with others all the way to Chorlton!) 17.45 start.

Planting on the Deansgate rain gardens starts next week. This will triple the amount of rain gardens in the ward, creating green spaces and sustainable ways to manage water drainage. All very important considering the challenges we are facing with climate change.
