Gr. 1 and 2 FI students @dixondragons worked with a picture set to build vocabulary and practice French oral language. We co-constructed a word wall as went. Students then made predictions about how the story would end and communicated their thinking by drawing and writing.

Thinking about the gradual release of responsibility as we planned a lesson to build towards lit circles with a grade 3/4 class. We used the Say Something strategy @fayebrownlie to share thinking about images. Ss then chose 1 image and wrote 2 thoughts on sticky notes.
