Take a look at these samples collected by Bob Allen on his forays deep into the woods of Walpole. Maybe someday he'll lead a field trip!
Going to the June Fair tomorrow? After you've had chicken and strawberry shortcake, cross over to the Lewis House from 11-3 to meet historian Michael Lepage, who will be portraying Lt. Philip Robbins of Walpole. Learn what it was like to be in a militia company in 1775.
Trying to do some genealogical research? Please visit us for resources and assistance! Open every Saturday 2-4 or message us for other arrangements. Check town records for most years from 1852 to the present, books about various old Walpole families & other useful materials.
Last September, George Ransom gave a walking tour of Plimptonville. For those who couldn't make it, or want to revisit the sites, George will present it on April 22, 2019, at the Walpole Public Library.
The Lewis House in Walpole is looking for someone to give an estimate on repairing/restoring the front doors. Anyone with experience in working with old homes, please let us know.
Dr. Gary Hylander will speak at
The Walpole Public Library February 19 at 7:00PM on King Philip's War. Hope you can join us!
Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, 'It will be happier.'
