Arsenal released him at 13 & Fulham at 16. He stacked shelves at Tesco just to survive Now he's become Arsenal's 3rd most expensive signing EVER Ebereche Eze is coming home I analyzed his data to see if he's worth the hype. Here's what I found out 🧵MEGATHREAD

Arda Guler is basically Mesut Ozil reincarnated. Ozil literally has a catalogue of these passes/assists to Ronaldo lmao Can see why Madrid were happy letting Paz go. In Guler they've got the best 10 of the current generation

Really really really like Kostoulas at Brighton. 19 year old and plays like a Prem veteran. Physicality really good, agile, great technique as wellnas movement

My starting 11 for Everton: 🔸️Everyone pick themselves. The only 2 positions up for contention were CF and CM 🔸️Im gonna go with Merino up top because Everton are gonna set up in a nasty low block which means our chance creation down the center will be limited. So expect a lot more crosses and no player apart from Gabriel attacks crosses in our side better than Merino. That said, Arteta is most likely just going to stick with Kai (which is also not a bad shout if he can go back to playing how he was at tje start of the season) Gyok is definitely much more suited as a finisher in this game (60' sub) 🔸️Guimaraes also continues. There's no reason for him to be benched. He's in a good place, building up momentum and forming new connections. We might also need his outside the box shots as an added threat against this low block

If Rice stays, be is most definitely retiring with a bigger legacy than Patrick Vieira and the best MF to have played for Arsenal, also probably England
I’m gonna say something crazy, but I can’t hold it in me much longer and I need to be honest with myself and all of you. Declan Rice > Patrick Vieira I’m not sorry.

🇨🇲 Nagida reminds me of Saka's breakthrough season as a LWB Elite tech combined with high level of football intelligence and physical ability. The touch from GK's long ball at 00:17 where he feints outside but receives on the spot will tell you everything you need to know This is a mini Nuno Mendes, a potentially world class. And even though Arsenal dont need a new LB I'd sign him this January purely to prevent another top club getting their hands on him (shouldn't cost more than 30 mil if we move fast) Loan him for the next 6-18 months (depending on the evolution of our squad) and we'll have a readymade starter for our 1st team. He'll make movies with someone like Eze or Nusa on the LW (any winger that loves to go inside basically)
Mahamadou Nagida vs Juventus

The most obvious buy for 50 and sell for 80 Brighton flip ever

The real opportunity is for this guy. We all know Madueke's level and its unlikely going to change. Top rotation piece for an elite is his ceiling Think back to how Saka became a 1st team regular? It was injuries to the senior players. Once in the team, Bukayo never looked back Now its Dowman's time to do the same

Half the Arsenal fanbase is secure and persistent with their hatred for Gyok, they've convinced themselves this wasn't an assist rather a ball that automatically "bounced" off him perfectly into Rice's path

QT from 1 year ago, my first time watching Diomande
🇨🇮 Yan Diomande is a Superstar He's playing as a RW in this comp which isn't even his primary position and he already looks one of the best in the business His explosive power over the first 5 yards & his dribbling are obviously the standout qualities but I want you to focus on two other things 1) The staple through pass with the outside of his foot. Highlights his technique + the capacity to rely on more than just his carrying/dribbling A lot of young players rely too much on the attributes they're already good at which can become a thorn in their development (example Nwaneri - turn & shoot) 2) The quick shuffle he does in tight spaces. For example the goal in this comp This is a monster in the making. Only 18 years old right now but can start for many CL sides In terms of profile, he is like a slightly rawer version of Nico Williams. Might have even better PnP & Ballstriking combo than the Spaniard Diomande is going straight to the top. Arsenal, Barca, Liverpool should all be keeping a close eye on him this season

The cheeks to say this after having the stinker of a season he is having is mind boggling
🚨🗣️ Bruno Fernandes calling out Carrick & the backroom staff: "It's a decision from the staff to not press man to man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, wait for them, but sometimes when you give space to these teams they get confidence." 🗣️ Bruno on whether he is saying Michael Carrick got his tactics wrong: "That's on the manager and staff to see, not me. Sometimes you have to be more brave under pressure, take the risk of pressing high and making them uncomfortable. As you saw with them [Como], the centre-back was coming to mark me in my own half. We need to do that as a team but we were unable to." 🗣️ Bruno: "A team that plays through the middle with small connections, if you give them too much time and space then they can hurt you out wide."

As I've said for a really long time, Gyok link up when the ball is on the ground is severely underrated
DECLAN GOALLLLLL !

Having Declan Rice in your team is like having an extra man OOP. I'm uncannily confident about us winning every loose ball when he's on the pitch On the other hand, after watching PSG vs Barca yesterday, the difference in individual attacking quality between those 2 teams & us being so stark is a little sad

Id take Ødegaard off too. Twice in 10 minutes he's ducked a duel directly leading to a near Bayern goal Unacceptable from the captain
Havertz has been quite ineffective tonight. Has to be the first sub out at 60'

Biggest reason I dont like Ø being the last midfielder is that the turnovers are deadly Happened a few times already this game. Ducks out of duels/harsh challenges and has 0 recovery pace

Thank you Senõr Arteta
My starting 11 vs Bayern: 🔸️Noni starts on the left over Eze, we need at least 1 outlet and Eze hasn't shown anything to deserve a starting spot. Noni has 🔸️Havertz form lately hasn't been great so there's an argument to starting Merino or Gyok over him but these are the exact type of games he excels in. He's one of our best big game players so he gets the nod from me 🔸️The rest of the team picks itself
