In 2025 we expect to see some level of containment around numerous conflicts, but geopolitical security risks remain high and we anticipate a broadening terrorism risk in Northwest Africa, Europe and the U.S, increasing the need for travel risk awareness and precautions.
In 2024 we expect to see a further proliferation in global conflicts with several cascading into wider regions. Travel awareness and precautions are more important than ever with conflict in many regions fuelling criminal activities and often increasing travel risks.

Yemen: CENTCOM report precision airstrikes have been conducted against Houthi targets. This comes after further attempted attacks by the Houthi militias against ships in the region.
CENTCOM Conducts Airstrikes Against Iran-Backed Houthi Missile Storage and Command/Control Facilities in Yemen TAMPA, Fla. - U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted precision airstrikes against a missile storage facility and a command-and-control facility operated by Iran-backed Houthis within Houthi-controlled territory in Sana'a, Yemen, on Dec. 21 Yemen time. CENTCOM forces conducted the deliberate strikes to disrupt and degrade Houthi operations, such as attacks against U.S. Navy warships and merchant vessels in the Southern Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb, and Gulf of Aden. During the operation, CENTCOM forces also shot down multiple Houthi one way attack uncrewed aerial vehicles (OWA UAV) and an anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) over the Red Sea. The operation involved U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy assets, including F/A-18s. The strike reflects CENTCOM's ongoing commitment to protect U.S. and coalition personnel, regional partners, and international shipping.

And so it begins, the first of likely waves of terror attacks in the U.S and Europe this year. At least 15 fatalities after a truck ramming into a crowd in New Orleans, reportedly related to ISIS.

Syria: The regime is in trouble, Damascus is mostly surrounded, slowly suffocating. There are reports opposition forces are at the Sednaya prison negotiating with prison staff about handover and releases. It’s just a matter of time now for the regime 👀
Replying to @WarrenRisks
Syria: With HTS and other opposition forces now taking towns and securing key roads south of Damascus and likely to take Homs in the coming hours it’s likely Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will be on the move and a regime implosion will follow 👀👀
