30 years ago today, June 19th, 1992 - 'Batman Returns' was released in theaters. Directed by Tim Burton. Both 'Batman' and 'Batman Returns' directly led to the creation and heavily influenced the designs of Batman: the animated series.

Superman is relatable.
He's not perfect, nor does he pretend to be. But he's driven by a desperate desire to do the right thing; a weight that's heavier than we commonly acknowledge.
An outsider that wants to belong and wants what's best for his people.
Yes, relatable.

Read this to my 6yo tonight and goodness did it resonate:
"COMPASSION.
That power, if we accept it, helps us care for one another and stand side by side as we face our greatest challenges."

"Comics allow us to live in a world where it’s normal to be who we are; to feel and act on behalf of the betterment of others. In many ways they show us how it can be."
Wrote this on #SupermanDay 4 years ago, and it still resonates.

Since it's #Oscar night... Never forget that #DickTracy was the first comic book related film with the most Academy Award nominations and wins. This record would hold for 28 years until #BlackPanther tied with Tracy in both noms and wins.
