‼️URGENT PRAYER REQUEST‼️
Durango, CO is in harms way tonight.
-I have friends whose homes have flooded
-Elderly friends with a river at their front door, literally.
-Ambulances just flew by
-Bridges are going (smaller ones)
@ColoradoDOT is working thru the night!
@DurangoPolice & @lpcsheriff are evacuating people right now. Babies, the poor, trailer parks
The scenes are catastrophic and it is supposed to rain ALL NIGHT LONG!
Pray for the hospitals, the first responders, the bridge & road crews.
As I type, I’m getting county messages of new zones to evacuate. But those roads are closing, options are limited, people are trapped and it’s terrifying.
Please pray.

🚨 Severe Flooding Hits Las Vegas, Nevada! 🇺🇸
Torrential rain, hailstorms and powerful storms have flooded roads, the iconic Las Vegas Strip and underpasses, bringing traffic to a standstill. Flight operations at Las Vegas Airport have also been disrupted.
Moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Vance is believed to have fueled severe weather across the southwestern United States.

Just a locally crazy, unforeseen random event last night in Pearl River County in Mississippi. The forecast was for widely-scattered thunderstorms with a "marginal" flood risk. A tiny area got stuck beneath a downpour for HOURS, with up to 17 INCHES falling!

No part of the country is favored to be colder than normal this November...
The best odds for a warm month are in the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest, although there is a potential catch in this forecast.
The polar vortex could be disrupted as soon as next week, which is very rare for November. Depending on how the vortex splits, the eastern half of the country could see a few colder stretches over the second half of the month, although this is currently far from guaranteed.

NUMEROUS FLASH FLOODS are likely tomorrow across Arizona, Utah and southwest Colorado...
An atmospheric river is carrying near-record moisture for this time of year into the Southwest on Sunday. Widespread 3-inch totals are expected north and east of Phoenix, with locally more, and on ground this soaked almost all of it will run off. The San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado could see flooding to rival last week’s, and the burn scars near I-15 and I-70 in Utah are at high risk too. Salt Lake City is in the flood risk area as well.
