This BC Conservative plan would cancel thousands of local, well-paying union jobs & eliminate the high-quality standards that keep workers safe. The Conservatives are more concerned with the bottom line of their donors than supporting workers. teamsters213.org/conservativ…

“We can’t compete with wages that are seven times less than us,” - @Seaspan CEO on how it couldn’t bid on @BCFerries ships as part of a process tilted towards the Chinese government. Echos Davie Shipyards. On East Coast.
Why is the “Canada Strong” Carney Government celebrating today all the benefits of made in Canada shipbuilding- with all their 🇨🇦 steel & aluminium- while they write out a $1Billion worth of cheques for vessels made by a state owned shipyard in the People’s Republic of China?

Station Construction: Step 1 A station needs a strong foundation. Each station’s base slab foundation is made of many layers. Concrete, waterproofing and rebar make up this important structural element. Fun fact: base slab foundations have been poured at all 6 stations!
