This is the third article I’ve written for @dose on mental health, skateboarding and creativity. This one features the amazing Elan Watson doseskateboarding.com/articl…

So I did this with @talkmore_zine 😊

Recovery comes with many more positives...No.1 being the absolute stoke you get from doing things you totally took for granted before your injury. I celebrate lots of firsts (for a while). Feeling the stoke and can't wait to restart my skateboarding journey!!!!

We have brand new stickers and they are free with every copy of @matlloydpoet 's brand new Zine "First Drafts and Photographs" which are available for pre order now. To order yours go to the link in his profile.

We need to talk about mental health.

Have you ever heard this as a skateboarder?? What are your thoughts on this statement??

It's very strange how things happen to bring about opportunity. It is a wonderful reminder that it's not what happens to you that matters, it's how you deal with it!

WeCanFly 4 will document my journey from breaking my ankle skateboarding to when I can finally get on my board. I will be interviewing people who have had the same experiences and also trying a range of different techniques to support my mental health and physical recovery.

I can't believe it was 1 year ago today that we screened WeCanFly 3 @hoxtonbasement London. Thanks to these wonderful people for being part of it.

A little bedside doodle for today as I'm waiting for surgery to fix a fratured fibula.
