Good morning wealth builders 🦾
We all had to start somewhere.
Whether your first investment was $10 or $10,000, what was the first stock you ever bought? 🤔
You don’t find out how much conviction you have when your stock is up 50%.
You find out when it drops 20%.
Don’t ask, “Should I sell?”
Ask, “Which part of my original thesis changed?”
If you can’t answer that, you probably didn’t have a thesis.

Before you open your brokerage app, ask one question:
"Am I about to make a decision, or just looking for a feeling?"
If it's a decision: check, research, act with a plan.
If it's a feeling: close the app.
Most portfolio checks aren't research.
They're looking for reassurance on green days and confirmation of fear on red days.

NYC really has me paying $100 just to look fresh.
That’s what I pay for a haircut + beard, 2 to 3 times a month.
Then I hear someone pays $35 for the same thing and remember:
This city will motivate you to make more money whether you like it or not.
How much are you paying your barber?
7 WAYS TO BECOME ALMOST UNRECOGNIZABLE BY NEXT YEAR
1. Get stronger.
2. Invest every paycheck.
3. Increase your income.
4. Learn one high value skill deeply.
5. Fix your sleep.
6. Stop spending money trying to impress people.
7. Stop taking advice from people living lives you don’t want.
You don’t need 100 new habits.
You need a few good ones repeated for 12 months.
Four giants report this week:
$MSFT $GOOGL $AMZN $INTC
Plus the Fed.
Most beginners watch one thing: did the stock go up or down after the report.
That's PRICE. It's the loudest number and the least useful one.
What actually matters:
1. FUNDAMENTALS:
Is revenue growing? Are margins holding?
2. EXPECTATIONS:
Did they beat what was priced in, or just what was reported?
3. THESIS:
Does anything in the report change why you own it?
If the answer to number 3 is no, the price move is just noise.
Won’t be too active on here today.
Out with the family enjoying Sunday and taking some time away from the screens.
Reset. Relax. Get ready for the week.
We work hard to build a better life.
Don’t get so busy building it that you forget to actually LIVE it.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
A big earnings week doesn't test the companies.
It tests YOU.
Price will swing. The business won't change overnight.
Know which one you're reacting to.

Imagine putting $100K into the $TSLA + $SPCX story…
Then opening the account again in 20+ years later.
I don’t know if I’d have the guts, but I’d LOVE to see how that experiment ends.

5 stocks I’m researching harder after the tech selloff:
$GOOGL → AI monetization + cloud growth
RISK → Will massive AI spending produce enough returns?
$AMZN → AWS + AI infrastructure
RISK → CapEx versus future free cash flow
$AVGO → Custom AI chips + networking
RISK → Expectations and valuation
$MU → AI memory demand
RISK → Memory is still cyclical
$VRT → Power + cooling for AI data centers
RISK → How much growth is already priced in?
Notice:
This isn’t my “5 stocks to BUY NOW.”
It’s my “5 businesses worth understanding better now that the price changed” list.

Next week is a stress test.
$MSFT $GOOGL $AMZN and $INTC all report.
And the Fed makes a decision in the same week.
That's a lot of news landing on your portfolio at once.
Here's what usually happens to beginners in a week like this:
• They check prices every hour.
• They read every headline.
• They make a decision in the 10 minutes after a report drops.
That's how emotional trades happen.
A simpler way to handle it:
Before the reports, write down what you own and WHY.
After the reports, ask only one thing:
Did the business change, or did the price change?
If only the price changed, you don't need to do anything.
If the business changed, now you have a real reason to think.
Busy weeks reward the people who decided their rules BEFORE the noise.
Which of the four are you watching most?
