Today marks the end of the 2021 Atlantic hurricane season. Of the 21 named storms, 8 of them made U.S. landfall. This season will primarily be remembered by Category 4 Hurricane Ida. Devastating conditions in Louisiana and Mississippi, then historic flooding in the Northeast.
