This afternoon, shower & thunderstorm chances return before conditions dry out tonight for the start of the week.

This morning, precipitation chances will be greatest areawide, with between 60 and 100 percent across southern Nevada, northwestern Arizona, and higher elevations of southeastern California. Chances diminish this afternoon, though greatest chances persist across our eastern zones. Flash Flood Watch continues for Lincoln, eastern Clark, and Mohave counties through late tonight.

Mrs. WH sleeps til 6 a.m. on the weekends. Told her last night about the time change. As usual, she didn't listen/didn't adjust her clock. Alarm goes off, she walks into the kitchen, I say "Happy 5 a.m." and she is PISSED. My earlier joke about day drinking might just happen. 😳

Vegas weather trivia. Although we got 1.31" at the airport (official site), many areas of the Vegas valley got much more. I got 2.94" at Casa de Weatherhack. I live in the NW boonies.
