Data is the foundational layer for web3. Love what @sidneyswift shared on how to use @Web3Sense data to find and reach out key influencers. 👏

Why digital autographs had to wait until today?
Thanks to @BennyGiang and team, a new token standard, @erc6551, was recently introduced.
TL;DR: NFTs can now OWN other NFTs
In this case, the "hat" NFT owns the "autograph" NFT
If you trade the hat, the autograph comes with it.

This is pretty big news for NFTs - Fortnite is adding special in-game items specifically for holders of Nike's NFTs (.Swoosh).
Fortnite averages about 25 million daily active users. We're about to see a lot of mainstream exposure to NFTs even if they don't realize it.

Talked to the founder of @Web3Sense today.
They have an amazing data analytics platform for NFT projects to get deep insights into their community.
They integrate with and can pull data from one Web3 TLD. The only one that matters.
It's ENS of course.

i was watching king of collectibles last night and i had an epiphany
the digital collectible market will be MUCH larger than physical collectible market
- no storage requirements
- no middlemen auctioneers
- global reach
- open 24/7
- instant liquidity

It won't go into your wallet. You'll just have financial exposure to it, but not utility exposure.

NFT cannot be understood without prices.
But NFT cannot be understood with prices alone.

With over $1.4 trillion in assets under management, Franklin Templeton is deploying its fund on Polygon.
Why Polygon?
• Very low transaction fees
• Fast transactions
• Full interoperability with Ethereum
If your blockchain isn't optimizing for this, they're going to fall behind on mass adoption.

you also need ways for people to get liquidity without sending the price from 75 to 45. We had that in the past (there was actually a fair bit of liquidity on Larva Labs and price was constant from 60-67 for 9 months --- you just didn't have fake buyers being paid to bid)... but in markets you can't sell huge blocks to short-termers above market price, it would destroy any asset, but particular collectibles with no fundamental value and all pricing based on supply/demand. There are blocks teams on trading desks that do just this, take big blocks and sell at a discount and find longer-term holders. In the case of punks here, we had the opposite (above market to flippers) which is destructive.

3/ NFTs have opened up new possibilities for creators.
Monetize digital arts.
Monetize music.
Monetize real estate.
A lot of new web3 funds and accelerators have emerged.
Even If market declines, the enthusiasts still remains.
(for the people who had genuine intentions.)
