most people don't know this but a chain ID isn't actually owned by anyone.
@giwachain's real mainnet hasn't launched yet, but they already had a chain ID reserved and public. attackers just took that same ID, spun up their own fake EVM network on it, added a fake bridge and RPC, and it looked completely legitimate.
here's the part that should worry you. even listing a chain ID on Chainlist doesn't stop someone else from deploying a separate network using the exact same ID. there's no ownership system, no verification layer, nothing technically stopping duplication.
this is how close to $2m got drained from people who genuinely thought they were early to a real network.
so the actual lesson isn't "double check everything." it's that chain ID alone was never a security guarantee in the first place, most people just assumed it was
@DYORSWAPDEX compensated over 40% victims., but this exact setup will get reused again because the vulnerability isn't patched, it's structural

Nobody tells new traders this part.
The coin isn't your real risk. Your account size is.
With a small bag you're forced into one of two traps. You either only touch tiny market caps because that's the only place your size means anything, or you hold bigger positions and get pushed out the moment liquidity chases the next hot thing.
That's not a skill problem. That's structure deciding your strategy before you've even opened a chart.
Most people spend months perfecting entries and exits and zero time thinking about whether their capital even fits the game they're trying to play

This is the most underrated piece of trading advice in CT rn.
Everyone obsesses over "what to buy" and ignores position sizing math entirely.
If you're running $13k liquid and chasing 7 figs, you're not under-skilled, you're under-capitalized.
Replying to @MINHxDYNASTY
either deposit more liquid or sell some bags to get more liquid
so you can be more flexible with buying into obviously good spots & get big enough exposure to materially benefit from the meat of the move
w/ 13k liquid & goal of getting to 7figs, unless you get lucky you’ll just get chopped by becoming forced seller when ur bags that are up now get attention vamped by new hot coins
or you’ll only look for coins that sub 2m since $13k gets close to 1 percent in that range
in reality ur edge might be seeing something at 8m that can go to 50+
or your edge might be parking $500-$2k in some really low caps that won’t run immediately, but might 100x someday

this is my most controversial advice… so don’t follow it unless you are the kind of person that takes responsibility for their own actions
if your goal is to downside protect and under NO circumstances do you want to lose more than $10k
then my hot take is you should deposit $20k
don’t use the $20k, not even close, just put it there.
this makes the stakes real.
it should make you sweat a bit. because if it doesn’t it’s very easy to take this internet money as a joke and just throw darts till it’s zero

you’re definitely a good trader so
for you being cash light might be hurting you more than meets the eye
