The next leader of the Conservative Party needs to be the person who is most popular in the country (not just the Tory party), which is why I'm pleased to Chair @JamesCleverly's leadership 👍

Virtually every night of this campaign, opponents have vandalised or stolen my posters. Today Herts police have made this arrest: facebook.com/share/p/qTL46ue…
Welwyn Hatfield's democratic process should not be disrupted by opponents using vandalism rather than debate.

Today’s #DDay80 commemoration in Portsmouth was a timeless reminder of the importance of those who have sacrificed to see freedom triumph over tyranny.
As a nation we can never forget the immense debt we owe to the heroes of D-Day.

Labour can’t be trusted on defence.
Starmer wants to appoint 13 frontbenchers who voted against trident, Rayner broke ranks to reaffirm she wants to scrap our deterrent & Lammy poses a real threat as a lifelong anti-nuclear campaigner.

Great to be with a huge team of local volunteers chatting to Welwyn Hatfield residents about the forthcoming election. Good to see so many familiar faces on the doorsteps & meet new residents too. I set out my plan for Welwyn Hatfield. Have your say here: shapps.com/tellme

Britain needs a Prime Minister with courage.
But with Keir Starmer running away from six TV debates, how on earth could we trust him to have the guts to stand up to tyrants like Putin and defend our nation.

These uncertain times call for a clear plan and bold action to chart a course to a secure future.
You must choose in this election who has that plan and who is prepared to take that bold action to secure a better future for our country and our children.

ALT Graphic quoting the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak: This hard earned economic stability was only ever meant to be the beginning. The question now is how and who do you trust to turn that foundation into a secure future for you, your family and our country. Now is the moment for Britain to choose its future. To decide whether we want to build on the progress we have made or risk going back to square one with no plan and no certainty.

Today, I hosted the UK Secretary of State for Defense @grantshapps to discuss continued defense cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
Our primary focus was on bolstering Ukraine's air defense and long-range capabilities, as well as meeting other urgent needs for weapons and ammunition and developing joint weapon production.
I thank the government and people of the United Kingdom for their leadership in supporting Ukraine and our people.
