They taste good to those pure of heart. But as soon as you eat too many they detect your greed and start tasting awful as a self-defense mechanism.
Bro not having a hernia anymore is crazy!! There are so many little things that I hadn’t realized I’d been doing cautiously for years!
Oh my god!
1.) Go to America.gov
2.) type “hello”
3.) type “play Minecraft”
4.) watch the agent’s reality implode
5.) ????
6.) PROFIT!

I love how even when they do need to guide players through insane level designs they do it in a way that actually make sense like road markings in a parking garage
Control: Resonant director Mikael Kasurinen explained why the game deliberately avoids the usual yellow paint markers used to show players where they can climb, enter or interact.
He says it was a conscious decision because Remedy wants players to actually figure things out themselves instead of constantly being told where to go. “It’s so important that the players feel like they’re the ones figuring it out.”
Instead of yellow paint, Resonant uses things like lighting, environmental details and objects to guide players.
Kasurinen admits this approach can make the game feel “impenetrable” at first and could alienate some players, but he believes that uncertainty is part of the experience.
“There’s nothing fucking better than it feels like I found my way to do it.”

I want to be very clear: this is dystopian and evil.
But it's frustrating to see so many responses along the lines of "gross, *I* would never want this."
It's like we've learned no lessons from the last 20 years. Did you want short-form video infinite scrolls? Did you want 40 TV streaming apps? Did you want the pretense of digital privacy to disappear? Did you want independent websites to die and get subsumed into a few mega-platforms run by oligarchs? Did you want every news platform to go behind a paywall? Did you want algorthims to fracture us out of common culture and into a bunch of polarized bubbles? Did you want Amazon to eviscerate bookstores? Did you want your attention colonized by the smartphone? Did you want the general enshittification of your digital life?
It doesn't matter what you *want*. It matters what most people will *buy*, and how that will ultimately shape the choices available to *you*, too. We have got to break out of the consumer-choice frame when talking about new technology. You, as an individual, sneering at the slop will not stop it. You, proudly announcing that *you* are too smart and tasteful for this won't stop it.
At a certain point, if you want to stop the total obliteration of a common human experience, you will have to turn to the state, to methods of coordinating collective action. You will have to actually fight this thing, not merely abstain from it as an individual consumer preference.

If the right is winning, the left has failed at its revolutionary task, and so it needs to undergo a process of internal criticism about what has caused those failures. Complaining about the enemy's strength is a waste of time. We must become capable of overcoming the enemy.
I do actually think that all papers should have a section devoted to covering the dramas taking place in local church potlucks, HOA meetings, etc
I love how no one who’s upset about the story ever tries to argue that it isn’t an accurate representation of what it’s like to be in leftist spaces lol

Listen, I get the backlash to orphans. They consume absurd amounts of water, and their art is trash. But this is a little far @WereInHellYT
