During times of uncertainty, remember to be mindful and to use your coping skills in your toolbox. And most importantly, always remember #kindnessmatters. #schoolcounselors #missingschool

A reminder that if public schools shut down, millions of children will lose their access to some of the only meals they receive each day. Food banks will become more important, and I've learned the best way to help is not to donate your spare canned goods, it's to donate money.

Just a casual reminder that 60% of all wealth in America is inherited. “Pull yourself up by the bootstraps” is a sham.

I am proud to stand with the students in Rochester who are fighting proposed teacher layoffs. I urge government officials to keep these educators in their classrooms. Together, we will invest in public education and reduce class sizes.
Hundreds of students marched on the sidewalks and spilled into Broad Street protesting more than 150 teaching jobs scheduled to be eliminated to close a projected $64.8 million RCSD deficit. wxxinews.org/post/student-pr…

Students preferred activity; to read a book to a K class. She was prepared with questions, used intonation and even had students discuss the message of the story. Now that’s learning-priceless. #greatthingsarehappeningintheRCSD @RCSDsch46 @RCSDNYS @TDade
