Congratulations to 2B, The Hub and the 401 children who were in school every day this first week of 2026! You are superstars! 🌟
Looking back at our sporting superstars from this term. We have had teams compete at the @HullActiveSch cross-country, and panathlon events. We ended the term with 8 of our year 5 pupils starting their journeys to become sport ambassador’s for our school. A big well done to all!

Thank you to all the children who remember to wear their small stud earrings for school and to keep their other jewellery nice and safe at home. 👍
Year 5 were lucky enough to welcome MP Emma Hardy for the afternoon where they were able to ask some thoughtful questions. Could a career in politics be on the cards? Watch this space!
Year 3 have been creating art work by torch light. Their art pieces have been done in charcoal and they really showed the mood of the subject. #WheelerArt
Wow! Look at the amazing pumpkins that our gardening club have grown this year. We can't wait to harvest them. How many can you see hiding in the leaves? I wonder what we will use them for?
Congratulations to our nursery children who achieved the best attendance in school this week with 99.2%! This is a fantastic start to school for our youngest learners and will give them the very best start at Wheeler. ⭐️
This week's safeguarding information is about Snapchat. Children should be over 13 to use this App. If you choose to let your child on Snapchat, please follow this safety guide.
