Why does Donald Trump seem so determined to stay on Vladimir Putin’s good side? Russia is the enemy.
Russia invaded Ukraine, yet Trump often seems more interested in keeping Putin happy than explaining how Ukraine gets a fair deal. He try’s to blame Ukraine for the problems he started.
Seriously, what is it about Putin?
Does he have a lifetime friendship coupon?
Is there a secret rewards program where every ten compliments earn Trump a free weekend in Moscow?
Here’s the question Americans should be asking: If Russia started this war, why does Trump sometimes sound tougher on the country defending itself than on the country that invaded it?
I’m all for peace.
But there’s a big difference between ending a war and rewarding the country that started it.
Trump says Russia released Stephen Hubbard without the U.S. giving anything in return.
But the broader context matters.
His administration recently waived key Russia sanctions and agreed to allow Russian diesel imports, with Trump announcing plans for Russia to supply “massive amounts” of fuel.
Hubbard’s release is welcome. But claiming there were no concessions ignores the economic benefits Washington has recently extended to Moscow.
Trump as major wins with Russia
He gets a prisoner released without paying a dime and get to trilateral meeting agreement between Russia Ukraine and America to end the war
The busiest phrase in this announcement is “during the Biden Administration.”
Stephen Hubbard was detained by Russian forces in occupied Ukraine.
His release is welcome. The administration can certainly explain its role in securing it.
But an American president did not operate the prison. Russia did.
The White House has found room for Trump’s photograph and Biden’s presidency in the story of Hubbard’s captivity.
A useful distinction:
Chronology tells us when.
Responsibility tells us who.
So let’s get this right, Russia holds an American hostage for 4 years and @SEPeaceMissions tells Putin he is a humanitarian? Russian Assets, the entire fucking Trump administration.
Good News
Trump is still the worst President in my Lifetime.
Trump’s lying is on the ballot
Trump’s destroying US bases with Iran’s war for Israel’s insecurity is on the ballot
Trump-Epstein’s File is on the ballot
Trump’s tariffs are on the ballot
Trump’s $6 for gallon of gasoline is on the ballot
I’m voting Democrats to reset sanity inside the USA.
Russia doesn’t try to help Democrats win. I am sure Putin just did this himself. To help Republicans.
Since he wants to remain having a President he can control. #VoteBlue2026
Good Job, and all we had to do was abandon a democracy in Ukraine, turn off Starlink so Russia could murder women and children and give Russia $50 billion in diesel fuel sales.
Well done.
I can not believe people in the comments are fucking angry over this! @POTUS send them in his place please 🤭 insane! This is a good thing how would you like to be held hostage in another country?! You can't even take being at home for a full week straight! 🤷🏽♀️ the hypocrisy of people! Be grateful this man is coming home!!
