Dad: I could not be prouder of you, your integrity, your values, and your faith. The River is better because of your servant leadership and the class you brought to every event, meeting, practice, and game. You are a world changer. In his own words… #blessed #WildcatsForLife

Joe Mazzulla on reports of the Celtics vibes being high at training camp
"Every team you lead is the most together team right now. Because we haven't traveled. No one's gotten benched. No one's been on a losing streak. No one's gotten blamed in the media. No one's had to go stand in the corner for 10 minutes and not get the ball. So, you learn those things as the season goes on, and you just learn how to work through those things together. And you can't simulate those. It just comes with time. And so, right now I would say all 30 teams feel great about themselves, and we got to wait till adversity hits. And adversity is even a strong word. There's nothing really adverse about playing in the NBA. But we got to wait until stuff doesn't go your way, and then you got to figure out who we are and how we're going to be at our best."

There is absolutely zero reason to allow 22’s another year when 21’s didn’t get same opportunity.

Why doesn’t the 2021 class get another year too? There's a real answer: the clock. The 2022 class's five-year window is still open through 2026-27, so the fifth season fits inside the clock the NCAA already gave them. No extension needed, just the new rule applied evenly. The 2021 class's window expired this past spring, before five-for-five existed or was even discussed. Helping them means reopening closed clocks, and that has no stopping point. 2022 isn't asking for extra time. They're asking to use time they already have. That's why the court called the NCAA's line arbitrary.

The 2021 class has been the unluckiest class I can think of. All the classes before them got an extra year because of COVID.
Then they had to compete against all the 23-26 year olds.
The class after them and beyond, got an extra year because of the new 5 year eligibility rule.

Our Class was forgotten about.

So the Class of 2021 just gets swept under the rug? We dealt with the aftermath of COVID too, but somehow we’re expected to move on while other classes received additional flexibility. It’s hard not to feel overlooked.
NEW: Judge Charlotte Sweeney has ordered the NCAA to declare eligible all Class of 2022 athletes who exhausted four seasons this spring, per court documents.
