This week we are learning the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt. We are going on a special walk to forest school to go on our on hunt. We are looking for paw tracks and counting them in the classroom. Can your child remember any key phrases from the story?

This week the poppies have been learning about clothes. We learnt how to sort clothes by colour and if they were the same or not the same. We dressed Miss Howard ready for a party

This week the Poppies have been to forest school to find different bits of nature they could use to make a nature face! this helped them explore the different parts of their face and also make a wonderful craft!

For 'Anti bulling week' We have been learning about working through collaboration. Today we paired up with a new friend and sang Row, Row, Row your Boat together.

Welcome back to FS1 everyone! This week we have been busy learning about Halloween. We have looked at the concept of Heavy, as pumpkins are heavy! We have felt a spooky bag and tried to decide what is inside. (pumpkin innards) Today we are making biscuits! such fun

We went on our local walk to the park. Our book is We're Going on a Bear Hunt so went for a hunt around the park finding bear prints and the characters from the story. We did this with our parents and had a lovely time.

🐞🐜Mad About Minibeasts! For our new topic, we invited our families to join us for a giant minibeast hunt at our local park. We discovered minibeast we had never seen before, developing our understanding of the world, as well as our communication and language.🕷️🪱 #EYFS

Let’s get moving ! This morning, we set up an obstacle course for the children to explore, developing gross motor movement. We also added large, loose parts such as logs and tyres to create block play opportunities.
