My acupuncture clinic has worn N95s since 2020. They encourage patients to wear masks as many are immunocompromised.
I been there around 20 times. When I came today the N95 wearing acupuncturist looked at my masked face and said - are you sick?

Just heard a radio commercial saying ”October is for wearing masks, but it is time to remove your mask and feel better!” It sounded like it was from Better Health but advertiser was Betterhelp (therapists)
I get they were playing with words, but so unnecessary @betterhelp 🤬

I have stage IV cancer. Basically no working white blood cells. I almost died earlier this year from the flu. I have a child with autism. Total strangers are constantly screaming at me for wearing a mask. Telling me how stupid I look. It's exhausting.

So untrue on the @TeWhatuOra site that @Novavax 'decided to withdraw' its latest vaccine.
It was NZ who kept asking Novavax questions(9 months after this vaccine was released in the world!) dragging the process out to the extent that Novavax updated vaccine was ready.

It is October, our only "lull month" between winter and summer waves in NZ and everyone is already sick.

My former specialty (paediatricians) arguing that it's fine for all children to be exposed to a novel pandemic virus was definitely not on my bingo card.
Nor was seeing them double down on that view when the evidence about multiple harms started to roll in.
Interesting times.
