Did you miss me? because I missed you (つ╥﹏╥)つ Being away for a month has been hard, life just wasn't working with me but I finally feel like I'm in a place to start streaming again. My medication isn't working against me anymore, I have a new PC that isn't dying on me and my home life has gotten a little better. Summer Isn't over yet silly (๑>؂•̀๑)

I've been watching @LudwigAhgren's streamer university classes on his VOD channel and during his first class he asked a question that really stuck with me and I wanted to turn it into a writing assignment like the other homework he gave. Q: What is the life you want to lead? A: The life I want to lead is one where I can say I made a positive impact on someone. Growing up with social anxiety and mental health issues and all around insecurity left me wishing I had an escape, The escape I found was through YouTube and social media, at a young age I looked up to Pewdiepie, Markiplier, Smosh and Glam & Gore and many more; I always wanted to be someone people could look up to or be motivated by. I went through many phases in my life as to what I wanted to be growing up, a counselor, makeup artist or a content creator. I used to stream and make a bunch of videos when I was younger, none of them saw the light of day because little me couldn't figure out how to verify my YouTube account so I could post my 10 minute long rambles. As I got older I became more open socially, I started doing good in school and I even got accepted into my dream highschool, by my senior year I was on track to earn my cosmetology license (I've always wanted to do special FX makeup like Glam & Gore) Then covid hit at the tail end of my freshman year. Not to blame a 4 year old virus for me failing at life, but it definitely put a wrench in my progress of everything. Those 3 years sucked, I lost all motivation, I became a shut-in and after 3 years of lockdown it felt impossible to pull myself out of the hole I was in, I was at my lowest low during the pandemic. In the time during lockdown I started face-cam streaming, Very casually at first and once lockdown was lifted I started taking it more seriously and found my niche in vtubing. From 2023 to now I've gained a collective of 33k followers on all platforms and sit at around 20ccv which to my surprise is the top 1% of streamers. I've slipped further into the habit of not discipling myself which I hope to work through after streamer u but feeling stuck and being ill has shown me you really can do anything you put your mind too no matter how far you seemed to slip from "normalcy", and that's what I try to show my community and people everyday; that it is possible to make it in life to some degree even if you feel like you are at your lowest low. I still have my lows I don't hide that, somedays I feel stuck and like I'm not going to go anywhere both online and IRL but I'm still here and I'm gonna try my hardest because this is all I have (which I'm also working on after streamer u) and if I - The highschool drop out that wants to do nothing but bed rot can do it, so can you. That is the life I want to lead, one where I can motivate people and show them they can do anything they put their minds too. If you made it this far, I truly thank you for reading. Ludwig's classes have really opened my eyes to things I didn't think much of and made me look at myself even from an IRL stand point, he truly is one of the best teachers I've had even if its unofficial.
