The Washington Reporter has reviewed our campaign ad exposing Shannon Taylor’s handling of the horrific abuse of premature infants at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital and confirmed that ALL THREE claims are TRUE.
The facts are devastating.
After four premature babies suffered serious injuries, Shannon Taylor’s office was consulted about allowing nurses who had been placed on leave to return to patient care. The response from her office? “No objection at all.”
Erin Strotman returned to the NICU. More babies were hurt.
Taylor later negotiated a plea agreement that limited Strotman’s active prison sentence to just THREE YEARS for abusing nine defenseless infants.
And when questioned about whether her office had been consulted before the nurse returned to work, Taylor disputed it. The hospital subsequently produced emails proving otherwise.
These aren't political talking points. They're documented facts.
