Strange request but are there any groundsmen out there interested in a discussion about a little work?
@HEBLcricket @EssexCCB @TheFixtureMan
Sad to report that Willingale CC has withdrawn from the Herts & Essex and will no longer be fielding teams. It’s been a struggle for a while, too long actually, & we leave with many happy memories, a few sore heads & some absolutely stand out battles over the years.

Not long to go now, if anyone would like to sponsor us, we’d all be VV grateful 🙏
I've #justsponsored Ross Rogers, who's fundraising for CCFC Foundation on @JustGiving. Donate now justgiving.com/page/whitby30…
@WillingaleCC and @_GBCC have joined forces for 2026 and are up for T20 games, either home or away.
Lots of dates available at the picturesque village ground in Willingale village. We’ll be a mix of raw youth an experienced guile. Drop us a line if interested👌@TheFixtureMan RT?

2/2 on our JustGiving page, please mark ‘Jon LLHM’ and I’ll match them and send to @Weldmar, a cause close to the old ❤️. Looks like it’ll be a sunny, funny day, looking forward to the bacofoil survival jacket at the finish line @OfficialClarets @Farewaytaxisltd @chelmsparkrun

In 5 sleeps, I’ll be attempting to push my lanky, weary frame around the City’s roads in London Landmarks Half Marathon. Never ran this distance b4. I’m running for Thriftwood School, Galleywood, as part of @OfficialCCSC hike from Aberystwyth to Weymouth in April. Any pledges 1/2
The fun bit first, then the pain of England. Looking forward to seeing you guys!
Here is your Anson line up for our game against @WillingaleCC We're looking forward to a nice trip into Essex and a good game of cricket
Tough slog at The Gaza today, heat, ageing bodies and a talented @Abridge_CC side meant another difficult gig but we came away with a draw.
Abridge 277-6 (43 overs)
Gale 187-9 (47 overs)
Bad day at the office for us as @NazeingCricket hand us our ar$e on a plate.
Gale 74 all out
NC1’s 75-2
Time to regroup 🫡
The story of our game yesterday v @MatchingGreenCC
A great battle, but we fell just short.
MGCC 233-5
Gale 208-8
Notable performance from @RoanneCrouse (64) but Matchings experience saw them home. Always a pleasure to see old friends at The Green 🏏🙂
What an opener 😮💨
The final Gale pair of the Skip and Vinny see is (just about) over the line in a very tight battle royale against a strong and talented @HallingburyCC side.
LH 151 all out
Gale 152-9
Gonna ache in the morning 💀
How did that happen? The final round of @HEBLcricket & we’re away at old friends @HatfieldHeathCC. The title is ours, but Heath have an intriguing chance to join us in the Prem in ‘24 if they win & @HallingburyCC don’t. Good fortune to both teams 🤝
Sunday, we host @WillowHerbsCC
Promotion secured ✔️
Next step - the title…..
Thanks to @SawboCricket for hosting.
Tomorrow, we travel to @BentleyCC_ with our Sunday boys. UTG
Another biggie today, away to @SawboCricket 3’s. Can the ‘Gale put one clammy hand on the Division 1 title?
Anyone have any contacts at @newhamcc? Trying to contact them but getting no replies.
There’s a strange feel about today, this big yellow thing outside my window is there, WTH is it?
Anyway, another big game today as we host @HallingburyCC at The Glebe.
Sunday, we host @_GBCC with a 1.30 start. UTG 🕶️☀️
@TheFixtureMan Willingale CC are keen to host this Sunday 13th August. Central Essex location, tea, bar and strip good to go. We would want to involve some of our newer Sunday players so on the weaker side of weak/medium and would hope for the same from any opposition.
